Stayed at this hotel in 2013. Hopefully the have done something since then. The rooms were damp, musty and cold. Bath rooms were awful, moldy and water not hot. Since we were there for only one night my daughter and I were looking forward to the English Breakfast, hoping that would make up for the bad room. We were in... More

We stayed 3 days there. It was not in the Nuwera Eliya town. But very close. Tuk tuk charged LKR 250 from the town. Food was good. Nice dinning area. It has a nice view towards the water fall and the Tea estate. Friendly staff. Rooms are big and clean. But heaters didnt work properly, so had to request extra... More

The hotel and rooms in general leave much to be desired - they are older, poorly lit and in general could use overall upgrades. But we stayed for one night and it did the job. The best part about it was the breakfast - the Sri Lankan breakfast was a real treat.

The plus point is the friendly staff, but defensively need renovation. Meals are Sri Lankan and are good. The place is away from the city, but not too far. Surrounding does not have a lot of attractions.

As has been said in other reviews, the staff are very pleasant and try hard. The outside has an attractive 'Swiss Alps' look-- the rooms are old and cold-- not the cleanest I have ever seen and definitely not one of my favorite places. I went out of the hotel for Dinner and the breakfast was ok-- It was a... More

It is very difficult to say whether this place is good or bad because it will be based on what your plans are to do in Nuwara Eliya and around. Pros: Good customer service, close proximity to city. Cons: not very clean, close to a highway., no disable friendly and not recommended for older travelers.

We paid Rs.30, 000 to the Silver falls hotel's bungalow (known as waterfall bungalow) facility to accommodate 14pax (10 Adults + 4 kids). The bungalow was advertised via Lanka Holidays website with pictures, looked satisfactory (this is adjoining the hotel – same management). We called the manager many times (3-4 days) prior to booking to confirm, and make necessary arrangements... More

I booked this hotel through my Travel Agent in April 2014. They supposed to give us Buffet Breakfast , but they gave only bread and Jam. To use the WIFI you have to sit in the Manager Lap. Lot of Mosquitos. Please do not book this Hotel. If you want cheap experience try this.
