This is the worse restaurant ever been... It,s not worth at all to pay this much for the food here, Specially in this cold weather food need to be hot, but it,s really cold as it,s not cooked freshly . Staff is unprofessional and nil of understanding . It,s not worth to eat there ....

Good food and service. But its sad that they dont serve liquor in this fabulous looking area. They got a rustic pizza oven and its great! Great, stunning views to admire all times. Ample parking space

What a missed opportunity, this restaurant has a lovely position overlooking the lake, but ruined by dreadful food. They just weren't bothered about quality food. They also hadn't renewed their licence to sell alcohol, not that this bothered me, but husband likes a beer at lunch time.

We had booked one night here but when shown to our chalet we could not bring ourselves to stay here. The chalet was cold with only a dangerous looking electric bar heater to warm it, the roof was leaking quite badly, the furniture was heavily stained and the wood was rotten. The restaurant was horrible and dirty, worse than a...

We stopped here for lunch on our way to the train to Ella. Located on the water, it was a friendly place with really good food and lots of choices. We wanted something light and had the best Caesar's salad ever. We were served quickly and really enjoyed watching people water ski while we ate. We found this place to...

We went here for some light snacks while walking along the lake. The Restaurant seemed dirty and once we went outside to take a table on the lawn the condition of the menus really put us off ordering any food. We were afraid we may get ill.

Good location overlooking the lake. Sat outside for lunch in very pleasant temperature. Staff polite and efficient. Reasonable selection of food, with well-presented and tasty meals. Vegetarian fried rice and fried noodles, which we enjoyed.

Quality of food was ok but way too expensive. Lime and soda is Rs.600/-, Ginger Beer Rs.350/-. Setting is appealing by the lake. View is very pretty. I would guess in the day time when one can sit outside and eat it would be quite picturesque.

We ate here as our lovely driver told us he got a free meal if he brought guests. We obliged, and then were very grumpy. Although they make a totally decent pizza, who goes to Sri Lanka for pizza? Especially when that pizza is obscenely expensive. The view is dull & no booze is served.

After we came in the restaurant we read this bad reviews. So I told the manager I would write something positive if the food was really good. And yes the pizzas were excellent! So I keep my promess The kitchen is open so you see what happens.
