Having read other reviews we were not sure what to expect..... But the staff were all very friendly and the room was excellent. The putting was fun although would have been good to have two balls but to be fair we did not go back to ask for another one and had a quick play on the grass tennis court!...

This place is isolated located ideally in between the tea gardens in nuwara eliya. It is a boutique hotel/bunglow which gives a warm cosy feel. If you are looking for a modern era commerical hotel with a huge building, butler services and buffet spreads this is not the hotel for you. As nuwara eliya is known as "little england" ,...

This is a great place to relax for a couple of nights in the middle of tea plantations. Superb views in all directions. They are listed in a "best boutique hotels of the world" book, or something like that. They sort of deserve the entry as they have 13 well appointed rooms and the whole ambience is very pleasant. BUT...

This review is directed at the absent management. This is a truly terrible hotel which needs a manager to direct staff, tell them what to do, look after their guests and train the chef! The team of young boys, who are the only staff you see, are obviously hopeless but it's not their fault. Beautiful and well tended gardens. Disgusting bathrooms...

If you are looking for a chain type hotel with huge buffets, masses of staff and slick operation this is not for you If however you want a hotel with a great location, a charming aspect and wonderful gardens it is! We stayed 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The pool is beautiful, we played tennis on a manicured grass...

We arrived late (about 19:00) and checked into four rooms, one single, a double and two triples. The two triples were not bedded up with an extra bed, though, so we had to send the staff for two extra beds. Initially, three of us in a triple room was given a small suite in another part of the hotel than...

On the face of it this looked like a lovely hotel in a beautiful location but something wasn't quite right. I noticed on a previous trip advisor post that someone had likened it to Fawlty Towers but it wsn't quite that bad! The welcome was a bit patchy and uncoordinated but we were soon shown to our room. As we...
