I wonder if there is any organization giving stars to hotels in Sri Lanka cause this should have been sued for giving them 4 stars. Its an extremely dirty disgusting place you should definitely avoid. The staff however were really nice and did their best. I feel sorry to give Such a terrible review but for example having stained dirty...

The hotel miss a welcoming and friendly character. The bar is closed because they do not have an alcohol licence. A visible and clear management for the staff fails. There are too many repairs to do. Seen the carpet in my room I concluded that they do not know a vacuum cleaner or do not use it. The towels were...

Not fancy but better maintained than some properties in Sri Lanka. Comfortable room. Furniture was worn. The window was stuck shut. Carpet desperately needed vacuumed. There is a refrigerator and hairdryer in the room. Meals were generally good but sometimes overcooked. There were some language barrier issues with staff. At checkout, they tried to double-charge several in our group for...

Opened in 1989 to great fanfares this hotel has gone downhill ever since and is in need of a facelift, particularly where bedrooms are involved. The ground floor room we stayed in was very dark and dingy with mould on the dirty walls. The bathroom had numerous broken or chipped tiles, an ill fitting toilet seat and no toilet paper...

Stayed here in late Dec 2016 on a tour with JetWing. Bed bugs came out of the pillows overnight and they were so big we thought they were ticks. Terrifying to wake up to find your blood squished through the bodies of crushed bed bugs onto the sheets in the morning. Bites took 2-3 days to come up - awful...

The rooms were pathetic however big.the carpets were torn, clogged drains, and insufficient electrical points making our 1 night stay nightmarish.Though would give credit to the hotel staff for being honest and return my credit card which was left behind.

Checked in here and the staff and management seemed to have read the previous reviews as most highlighted problems have been taken care of. The rooms are dated and could use some upkeep though... it's poya day here so most of the bar and pub facilities are shut down so can't comment on those...

Experience wasn't good at all. Rooms are extremely uncomfortable, toilets unclean and staff unconcerned. Actually, during our stay there were already existing customers who were unhappy and have had a lot of inconvenience with the staff and the rooms. The staff remained unconcerned and indifferent to customers' problems. Overall, an avoidable experience.

I have stayed in this hotel for one day. The view from my rooms was extraordinary. The food spread was also very large. The hotel had heaters in each room which was good since the temperature there is cold. Overall the hotel is a good place to be.
