Cabins! We booked a duplex, pet friendly cabin. The price was good. We were traveling too far and staying too short of a time to camp so we opted for a cabin. These cabins exceeded our expectations!! We stayed in a duplex for our family of 5 (three children under 9) and it was a perfect fit! Two couches made into...

We have not stayed in Arkansas State park cabins for quite a few years. The cabins at Lake Catherine are so nice!!. The beds are well appointed and comfortable. The housekeeping is over the top. You will not regret booking here!!

A nice quite place to rest! If you go in the middle of the summer ask for a RV spot along the edge of the camp site. Way to hot in the middle, their or no trees to protect you from the heat. Lots of amenities, hiking, biking, swimming, zip lining and a frisbee parks. Cabins and Yerts or completely...

The cabins were great! We rented seven cabins total and everyone loved them. The customer service from the staff was amazing. Every request we had they did their best to accommodate. The prices were reasonable and the lake was refreshing. We would definitely recommend and would come back for another stay. I stayed in Cabin 16 on the lake and...

Nice campground. The dam view hike was pretty nice. It was a four mile hike that allowed us to see from a mountain top and also some creeks in the area. Very nice and relaxing. There are two additional trails that are a little easier.

The cabins are very nice especially for the low price. Visitor center was very helpful and stocked with souvenirs and snacks. The dam mountain trail is closed December - February due to public hunting land that begins close to the trail. We were looking forward to that hike and bummed when we found out. The park really should state that...

We stayed in the rustic studio cabin that hangs over the water. It was perfect because it was on the quietest part of the lake on a small creek inlet. The park was almost deserted, and thus we enjoyed the quiet solitude of what surely must be a busy park in the summer. The waterfall hike the next morning was...

The two of us and a dog had an awesome experience, albeit freezing, at lake Catherine this thanksgiving break. It was serene with great trails, campfires and a waterfall. We will try and bring back the whole family next year.

We loved staying with our dog. Woke up every morning to a beautiful lake behind the cabin. Fed the geese and ducks in the mornings and evenings off the dock. Saw a family of white tail deer in the park.

Tent camping is not great here. One large site, with plenty of shade, but no privacy from other campers. Bathrooms were not clean or well maintained, but the biggest issue was the raccoons. People obviously feed raccoons because they were a major nuisance.
