Great value motel within a short driving distance to the town centre and baths. Rooms are decorated beautifully, clean and are all individual, so it doesn't feel like a typical chain motel. The Scottish owners are lovely and very welcoming, they even made me a cup of proper tea in the morning

I highly recommend the Alpine Inn, a 17 room converted motel that is run by two really nice and helpful folks from Scotland, Eric & Leslie Wilson. The reviews on trip advisor for this place are very good so I decided to give it shot. Don’t be fooled by the unassuming buildings or the surrounding low-income residential neighborhood. Once inside,...

My girlfriend and I were going to Hot Springs with the intention of staying one night in a hotel and camping 3 more nights in a quaint little park outside the city. We had booked one night at the Alpine Inn and my mother was meeting us so I booked her a couple of nights there as well. When we...

The king suite was perfect for my honeymoon vacation. The room was so clean, no bugs, & didn't smell. We will definitely be staying again when we travel back. Thank you Eric & Leslie for all you done!

The rooms were smaller than expected, but was cozy and comfortable. The owners, Eric and Leslie were incredibly kind and made our experience a great one. We had requested a queen regular room, however Eric and Leslie upgraded us to one of the suites for a few nights since it was our honeymoon! This was a great surprise to us...

The owners' cheerful attitude is what makes this hotel great. Every review on this site is accurate--the good and the bad. Because of the positive energy of the owners, each traveler's perspective is affected. Things that might have bothered me had the owners been not as present, not as helpful, not as nice might be: 1. SMALL (cozy) room--like my...

We greatly enjoyed our overnight stay at the Alpine Inn. Eric and Leslie have put GREAT energy into making this a comfortable, attractive and spotlessly clean place to stay. The location is ideal, very close to the darling downtown, restaurants and baths. We highly recommend Alpine Inn. We loved dinner and music at the historic Ohio Club.

Clean room with mini kitchenette. Easy access to heart of town & bath houses. Leslie & Eric brought their lovely Scottish friendliness to business. Recommend this place to others if wanting something different than a chain accommodation.

Not only would I recommend it, but will definitely be back... This is the kind of Jewel...

We have stayed with Eric & Leslie at Alpine Inn quite a few times over the last few years. The rooms are always spotless, the beds extremely comfortable, the price can't be beat and you couldn't ask for finer hosts. On the times when we were able to swim, the pool is always so clean and it is quite beautiful....

“I like the separate cottage or the main house for a more old world feel.”
  • Back view of the main house where we stayed. Notice the Balcony and covered parking.
  • Standard early 1900s size bathroom. Would be tight for larger people.
