My daughter and I came for an admitted students day in April and stayed here. Room was quiet and comfortable with a nice view of the lake. We had sun, clouds, hail, rain and snow over the course of 2 days! The breakfast was included and just right for us and I was thankful for the onsite parking. We really...

We checked in and looked around a bit. The lobby is spacious and lovely with a grand piano and fireplace. Our room was on the top floor, and very quiet. The staff was kind, courteous, and helpful. I've since learned that the building was a dorm in the past, and it made sense. The rooms aren't huge, but they are...

A great value for the area, when visiting the campus or attending meetings. Close to the campus, State Street (stores, restaurants & shops) and Memorial Student Union. Though the room is basic with two double beds and a bathroom with only a shower. I was here to help my daughter move some of her stuff out of storage. The rooms...

Stayed overnight in February with two of my children to visit my daughter who attends the University of Wisconsin. My daughter invited two of her sorrority sisters to come swim in the awesome pool and warm up after in the sauna. This was the highlight of her siblings visit! Took advantage of a $79 room rate special on a Saturday night to visit our son in Madison. The special deal included free parking, free breakfast and a room with two twin beds. The location near State Street and Memorial Union was convenient for walking to dinner. Although a small room with small bathroom and pool with sauna where dated...

The rooms and amenities are basic, but it's clean and nice, and an easy walk to the Memorial Union, State Street restaurants, and the Capitol. I had a view of the Capitol from my window. The only negative is that it's on fraternity row, so so it gets a bit noisy on weekend nights. I don't remember if you have...

Stayed for a week, I got there early enough to get on site parking, my 2 colleagues didn't, had to park 3 blocks away, still, weather was nice, so the walk was fine. Breakfast in the morning was good, plenty of places to eat nearby, exercise room was adequate, didn't have a regular type bike, only recumbent, room was nice,...

Stayed with my son while visiting the campus. Great location for State Street and getting to the campus facilities. 2 queen room is sufficient size for two for a couple of days and beds are comfortable. The breakfast was also very nice. Marks off for the bathroom. Shower stall was in need of updating.

The Lowell Centre is a UW-owned hotel on campus, and it’s perfect for those wishing to stay close to the campus, but it is also conveniently located in general. The lakefront is a one minute walk away, as is State Street, and the Capitol Building between 10 and 15 minutes. I had a standard room, which was a good size,...
