We had a room with a balcony and it was pure heaven. We enjoyed every second of our stay. The courtyards were beautiful, the breakfast great, the staff superb. My only complaint is that the wifi was not working most of the time causing us to burn through data. The coffee cups at breakfast could be bigger, too. Next time...

One of the most accommodating hotels in NOLA. Grab a map and plan your daily activities. There are many within walking distance. Rooms that are on the street may be noisy so keep that in mind if you are a lite sleeper. But many street side have a balcony which is nice for people watching.

Excellent location. Walked everywhere, except Frenchmen street, and WWII museum. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room 211 overlooks the pool, but the weather was rainy so it was mostly quiet. Except for mornings, when the adjacent building had some renovations happening, it's like it was in the next room! Also the bathroom needs updating, seriously. .

This is such a cute place to stay, right in the middle of everything. Jessica at the front desk was super nice and helpful with suggestions. Would stay here again if in the city. Minimal noise heard in the streets but not enough to be distracting.

Had a good time at New Orleans during the festivities of Mardi Gras. Key highlight being the location of Hotel Dauphine Orleans at French Quarters right next to the Bourbon Street where the Action is !! Lots of Food joints, Bars, Clubs at walking distance of 1-2 Mins. Staying away from French quarters will not be a good idea. Wifi...

Thin walls made for noisy nights/days. Sweet courtyard, great staff, typical self-serve cold breakfast including the coffee. Easy access to everything; great bell staff. For the money I probably would have chosen another location.

The room was very spacious and the staff was great. The hotel is in a great location as well! The price of the room per night was high but understandable due to the several events in town! I would stay here again if there aren't any events going on due to the price increase!

The hotel is very small and it's perfect. It's very private but is only a block away from the nightlife. Everyone who stayed loved it. Can't wait to return soon and explore more if the city. Will definitely be staying here soon!

Good location for mardi gras, but very noisy. Our room fronted onto Dauphine St with virtually no soundproofing, resulting in 4 very sleep disturbed nights. My wife is coeliac and the hotel offered very limited choices for gluten free options for breakfast. The restaurant staff seemed somewhat indifferent about helping. Bar staff were very good and reception good.

I was very satisfied with ever aspect of this hotel. The most comfortable, pleasant, friendly, quiet, affordable place I've stayed. I will definitely be back for another stay here with my family !!!!!

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
