Easy to get to. Secure parking. Hotel centrally located and staff were excellent. Rooms on third floor were great. Nice pool and bar. Short walk to Bourbon St., Canal or Decatur St. for some of the best dining and night life.

With all of the bustle and activity on Bourbon street, it was nice to walk two blocks to a quiet and quaint place to rest. The Dauphine is updated with everything you need but you feel like you're in a French town. The staff is amazing, the pool is delightful and May Bailey's is so interesting!

My boyfriend and I stayed here last night. Beautiful hotel, our room was HUGE! Loved it. Only 1 problem, don't stay in room 136. It is across the street from the main hotel and faces the street. While they did a good job at sound proofing the rom from the road noise, any large vehicle that went by, we heard....

Sweet litte boutique hotel. Fantastic location. Staff is top notch, friendly, efficient and knowledgable. Breakfast selection is wonderful and ample. The courtyard is nice though there is very limited space around the pool but there is also another side courtyard. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and would choose it again on my next trip to New Orleans.

Booking another vacation to NOLA, we wanted something in the Quarter. We booked the Dauphine Orleans because it seemed 'just right' for us. Location, budget, ambiance, and the deciding factor was the positive reviews on Trip Advisor. *We booked thru a third party, found that there were other rooms available beside the options given to us when booking. I called...

Good location. No onsite restaurant so no room service. Atmosphere was nice for the area and the noise was not bad coming off Bourbon Street. The Continental breakfast was excellent. Just enough each morning to get us going and included in the cost of the room.

The hotel is located in the heart of the French Quarter, just north of Bourbon Street. The location makes a big difference because the noisy part of the Quarter is to the south. The St. Louis Cemetery is two blocks away. The French Market and Mississippi river are a ten minute walk. The hotel occupies two properties on either side...

Location was excellent for French Quarter area. Friendly staff. Easy indoor parking ($36.00 per day). Clean and spacious room (small bathroom). Pool area was clean. Free breakfast had just enough food and had a large and clean dining area. For the French Quarter District being older this hotel was very nice and valued priced. We would stay again.

Great location and value. Nice bar. Poolside can be crowded in afternoon. Nice continental breakfast and especially like the drink coupon upon arrival. Crossing the street was okay to get to room. Room nice albeit smaller than photos.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
