We stayed this weekend in the suite, sharing the space with two friends. No photos online do this place justice. When Adam opened the door, my husband and I both gasped. I told him immediately I could move in and stay forever. It's huge, with...More

Thank you for such a nice review. We are thrilled y'all enjoyed your stay with us and we look forward to your next visit.
My wife and I stayed here this past weekend for our 5 year anniversary and absolutely loved this place!
The location is amazing (you're close to the French Quarter AND Frenchman Street plus some nice Marigny food spots for breakfast), the staff are wonderful, the...More

Super covenant location to the Quarter and Bywater areas. Just the right distance from Bourbon St. (although I stayed away from there).
The entire staff there made my stay truly delightful. Upon arriving there where good ole fashion wooden...More
Stayed at the storyville suite, it was awesome, and we didn't know there would be a balcony, which was a plus. Had we known about the balcony, we'd have stayed there for all three nights we were in New Orleans.
This is a great place to stay. We stayed in the marginy suite on street level and it was beautiful. The manager, Adam, was excellent and really accommodating. We arrived early and we were checked in early. Our room was ready. He warned us it...More

Nestled between the French Quarter and the Ninth Ward, the Faubourg Marigny & Bywater environs are largely residential. Of course, folks around here love to go out and have a good time as much as they do anywhere in NOLA. And if out-of-towners want to join in the festivities, well then so much the better! Home to some of the most revered live music venues in New Orleans, an eclectic gaggle of gourmand dining
destinations, and a come-as-you-are vibe that’s as infectious as it is alluring, this is real deal New Orleans oozing with southern hospitality and the promise of a most epic night out. For endless opportunities to boogie, to admire row upon row of lovingly restored homes, and to escape the fray of the more touristic parts of town (but still live it up in grand style) head to Faubourg Marigny & Bywater.

Royal St. Inn is 2-4 blocks from the Quarter, in a neighborhood like Lakeview or Ravenswood, so you have nothing to fear. But to be honest, there's no reason to go there. It's all t-shirt shops, Wrigleyville-esque douche bars, and vommit on the sidewalks from the patrons thereof. Skip it. The hotel leaves a list of what's good in the area, go with that. Or ask the staff - they're awesome! I guarantee you'll have a better time in NOLA if you do that.
