Excellent hotel....centrally located and within walking distance to Harrah's Casino and other attractions in the downtown region. Fantastic breakfast....both hot and cold. Pretty good fitness room and it's open 24/7 which is a major convenience. Rooms are well kept. The Happy Hour is a nice...More
We were so happy with our choice of this Embassy Suites! We usually stay closer to the Quarter but this was a short, focused trip and this hotel was better located for our needs. It's within easy walking distance of The National WW II Museum,...More

Wow! This is awesome to read. Much gratitude coming your way from us for taking the time to share. It sounds like you had a very full few days while in NOLA. We take much pride in knowing we were a catalyst for you enjoying...More
I was here on business. From the moment I walked in to the reception area, to the hotel room, to the banquet room, I experience exceptional service. I would stay here again. Every detail of my needs were met.
We've stayed at this Embassy Suites during our last two trips to NOLA. Everything that you'd expect from Embassy Suites (the larger rooms with separate sleeping areas, the weekday happy hours in the lobby, the included breakfast, etc), but with a location that is super...More

Reading your review has brought a smile to our faces! We love how you described the staff as "a breath of fresh air". They strive to embody the NOLA spirit of hospitality. We are delighted to read how much you enjoyed them.
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.

The lighting in the room is extremely poor unless u hand in the bedroom where the terrace is. As for the cleanliness that was never an issue. I stayed several nights. The room was clean and I never saw a rodent. There was a bit of mold up by the shower head but that could happen anywhere. I also felt the room was a little dated but I did find the property to be clean. I hope this helps.
