My family and I visited this hotel the weekend after Mardi Gras. I usually stay at the Hilton St Charles but my family insisted on staying here due to the free breakfast and managers reception. Let's get to the review; the exterior of the hotel is really nice and modern; as is the lobby and reception. The rooms however is...

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your stay and how you were able to take advantage of the close proximity to the French Quarter and our complimentary breakfast buffet. We definitely note your feelings about the rooms. We did just renovate two years ago, however we went for a more contemporary look in some of...

Rooms Looked look cheap. Pictures on the site can be deceiving. Unmanaged and unmaintained Rooms. Bad Smell and Noisy Showeroom exhaust. Front Desk people are inpatient. Good location though. Complimentary breakfast somehow saves the day but I don't recommend anybody to stay here. I don't think its worth the Price. Hilton hotels are good but this one - I don't...

Although we are glad you enjoyed our breakfast, it is concerning to us that the rest of your stay was not up to our standards. As someone who travels frequently I can relate to being let down by staff and rooms. We should not have been impatient with you at the Front Desk. That is unacceptable and we are truly...

Stayed at the Embassy for our annual trip to Mardi Gras. The hotel is in a great location. It is close enough to walk to the French quarter but far enough away to be calm. We enjoyed our stay, and really love the complimentary evening happy hour, and breakfast buffet. However I would not recommend the second floor as there...

Thank you so much for making us your hotel of choice during Mardi Gras. It's great to hear that the location of our hotel put you near all the festivities while satisfying you with our complimentary breakfast and evening reception. We have noted your experience regarding the smell in your room. Thank you for letting us know about that so...

Stayed here right before Christmas and as someone who stays here quite a bit this was the worst I've experienced. Not the warmest of greetings, room was horrible - sink sloooowly drained, loudest bathroom fan in the history of fans, broken shower curtain rod, terrible internet( this was one of the rooms that was up high and formerly outside- actually...

First off, thank you for being a frequent guest and also for letting us know you plan on returning. As a former valet myself I can tell you that this was a mess up on our behalf. Had I been in your shoes I would have been very frustrated with the situation. Please accept our apologies as this is just...

This Embassy Suites was a great value and a fantastic location to many venues and the conference center. It's an older ES but very well maintained. The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful for someone who had never been to New Orleans before. Highly recommended!

This was the worst experience with a hotel. I checked out within one hour of checking into this hotel. The carpet was filthy. The curtains were broken. The bed looked as though the sheets were not changed for a new guest. The Internet only worked in one section of the suite. This was a disaster.

The hotel was OK by most standards, but for the money the furniture was chipped up. The food quality was not very good arty all. I usually stay at Embassy Suites for the breakfast. This was not a great breakfast.

We wanted to experience parades and food without the hassle of traffic or uber. The Julia St. Embassy Suites was perfect! We stayed at The Lofts Annex of this hotel for six nights in late January. Facility is clean, location is excellent and the rooms are spacious. MTO breakfast was consistently delicious. Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
