This place is at the ‘east’ end of Bourbon St away from most all of the hustle and bustle. That means it is relatively quiet, except for the occasional group walking by. And when they go by – if you have the room we had (the Victorian Suite)– you will hear them because this room was at ground level right...

First time in New Orleans and we feel so lucky to have found this cozy, safe, adorable studio room. It's placed conveniently where all the action is but, away from all the noise and craziness of Bourbon St! The owner Chuck was very welcoming and charming. Trust me when I say, this is the place to stay!

With great fortune we found this place when looking for a place to stay. It's on the somewhat quiet side of Bourbon Street, but very near all the action. Very nice rooms, and a nice courtyard. My rate was great so I assume you will find this reasonable any time.

We loved staying here. Fantastic location. The court yard makes the stay even more enjoyable with the water fountain and the beautiful flowers. Loved gabbing with Chuck, Great location. Will try to get back for sure.

My husband and I stayed for the St.Patrick's weekend from Saturday to Wednesday. The room was beautiful and Chuck was absolutely wonderful. We always try to stay somewhere different every time we go. But from now on we will always stay at the Bon Maison.

We stayed in an inside room, away from the street. Though the hotel is on Bourbon, we found that there was very little noise. The room was small but comfortable, with everything we needed. And since we did not have to pay the expensive tax, it was amazingly reasonable. Have a drink on the balcony and enjoy the night!

I spent 5 days at the Bon Maison and loved it. It is right on Bourbon street, but a block from the noise. Perfect location for access to everything!!! Chuck was a wonderful host. He came and joined our party and felt just like family. The Guest House is very French Quarter. It has a beautiful court yard for relaxing...

We stayed here over 2013/2014 New Years holiday. This was our second New Years in NOLA, and the first time we stayed at a different place. The other place was fine, but can't hold a candle against Bon Maison. First & foremost, it's clean. I mean actually clean, which is priceless after a night on Bourbon St. Second, the hosts...

Stayed at this lovely setting 3 nights. We couldn't have been happier as the location was well suited to walk almost anywhere in the French quarter and surrounding vicinities! Bon Maison provided a quiet refuge when we'd had enough of the evenings shenanigans from the French Quarter! It was very clean and Chuck, the co owner couldn't have been more...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
