Just returned from 8 nights stay at a wonderful B&B just steps outside of the French quarter. Karen, the owner, is the most wonderful hostess. She made us feel right at home, catered to our every need, kept us in fresh towels, linens etc all...More
This was my second stay at the Dauphine House and, once again, it was a wonderful experience. Karen was the best hostess. I stayed in the center room this time and it is just as wonderful as the back room. I was on another research...More
We came to New Orleans to have some fun and support the economy. Who knew they have a gazillion football bowls and places fill up, like the Omni which I really like.

Nestled between the French Quarter and the Ninth Ward, the Faubourg Marigny & Bywater environs are largely residential. Of course, folks around here love to go out and have a good time as much as they do anywhere in NOLA. And if out-of-towners want to join in the festivities, well then so much the better! Home to some of the most revered live music venues in New Orleans, an eclectic gaggle of gourmand dining
destinations, and a come-as-you-are vibe that’s as infectious as it is alluring, this is real deal New Orleans oozing with southern hospitality and the promise of a most epic night out. For endless opportunities to boogie, to admire row upon row of lovingly restored homes, and to escape the fray of the more touristic parts of town (but still live it up in grand style) head to Faubourg Marigny & Bywater.
