Staff are super friendly. My room was on the small side and I can't believe the bathroom. Tiny! The fixtures were nice and room was very clean. Nice location but there is no parking. Your only option is valet at $38.00 / day!

Parking is absurdly expensive. Valet tells you to give them 15 minutes to get your car, but you should expect at least 30 mins. It took them over 1.5 hours to bring our truck when we checked out. The room was nice and clean and the staff is very friendly.

First, the location is great. Located on the corner of Canal St. and S. Peters, the Doubletree puts you one block from the French Quarter, while still keeping you away from the noise and crowds. The Doubletree is located right across from the casino, and walking distance to many attractions in the central business district and downtown. Going to the...

This hotel is in a perfect location for visiting NOLA. Easy walking access to everything in/near the Quarter and to the street car. Rooms are clean and comfy. Staff are very friendly, helpful, and accomodating, especially the bellmen.

this was a very below average stay. I expect it way more and got way less. The breakfast is horrible and the quality of food was unacceptable. They have extremely rude and unprofessional servers who harass you about a breakfast voucher, when the food should be complementary to all. Also, the rooms were small, but the cookies were good as...

This is a good hotel. Clean and comfortable. The entrance is a mess right now, but hopefully it will be better after their renovations. The rooms have already been renovated and are nice. It is a bit of a walk to the best places in the Quarter, but not too bad.

We are currently still undergoing the renovation of the lobby, however we are confident that you'll feel the same way about our lobby. We would love for you to join us...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
