This was the worst stay I have ever had at any hotel. The hotel was substandard. This hotel need to be renovated; it is a safety hazard. In my room where the tile floor transition to carpet flooring the hardware was exposed. At first it just appeared to be an aesthetic issue; however, when I walked in that area my...

It was in an excellent location on Canal Street. You could get on the trolley and explore the garden district, warehouse district and go all the way to the end to visit City Park. You could walk to the Riverfront and take the boat down the Mississippi River and the tour guide on this boat was very informative. You could...

A so so hotel. Only thing nice about it is its location--safe area of the city and close to Riverwalk and other places. Room was very small. Bed is a small queen. Not very comfortable. Bathroom very tiny, with lowered ceiling. Good pressure from shower though and high quality towels, soap, and shampoo. Rooms definitely need renovated. Must pay $36/night...

The location of this hotel was fantastic. It is situated within steps of the French Quarter as well as the Riverwalk. The casino is right across the street. The staff were friendly and helpful. The accommodations themselves left a lot to be desired. Paint chipping, awful showers, old carpet, beds that were lumpy and well-worn. You could also hear the...

We also agree that our accommodations need to be upgraded and we will do so with our renovation in the upcoming months. This will certainly address your concerns with the rooms as well as improving the...

Wish I had taken serious note of the critical reviews here before booking. King room is somewhat smaller than average and shows extensive wear. Furniture edges are full of pockmarks; if they aren't keen to update the furniture, you'd think they would at least stain the scrapes and dents so that they were much less obvious. Carpet also shows extensive...

The chocolate chips from the registration were so delicious to eat. I'm spoiled for asking more. Room were comfortable. Easy walked up to the French Quarters few blocks down. The big Casino are right across the street but I don't spend my gamble there. I enjoyed my stay in New Orleans.

Friendly staff, but TERRIBLE ACCOMODATIONS! Small room, bathroom the size of a closet, something in the bedding made me itch like mad plus I saw a spot of dried blood when I pulled the cover off in order to look at the sheet. Disgusting! Find another hotel if you can!

Booked a last minute trip to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. Saw other reviews and had an idea of what we were up against, but reality is a b**ch. I rated this hotel average for several reasons. Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
