My boyfriend and I visit NOLA frequently and like to stay in the French Quarter. The hotel was in an Excellent location, clean, and parking is reasonable (and you can get to your car which is not always the case in NOLA). The pool was beautiful though we did not use it. Bar was nice, good drinks-average price for NOLA....

good location. Small but busy. In the quarter but not in the hub- bub. The concierge was really helpful. The staff was friendly. There is an internal courtyard pool that was neither noisy nor crowded. It was pretty easy to get to Jackson Square, about a 10 minute walk.

Room was a nice and no issues with cleanliness and staff were attentive and friendly. Only issue I could...

Located few blocks from Bourbon Street, this hotel offers quiet and comfort just a few steps away from the heart of Bourbon Street. Rooms on 2nd floor are roomy with King Bed, TV, sitting chair and bathroom area. Breakfast was extra and about same price as market- would recommend you seek outside locale for breakfast to experience the area. RF's...

Staying at the Chateau Lemoyne is like stepping back in time in a way and visiting someone who lived in NOLA. We were fortunate enough to have one of the Suites and it was an amazing room. The suite was situated off a porch of an old Creole mansion and was shaped like a rectangle with a sitting area a...

This hotel was wonderful! It was close to Bourbon Street but far enough away that you didn't hear the rowdy crowd. Staff was very helpful in suggesting tours, restaurants, and things to do. Will definitely stay here again.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
