We've been to New Orleans several times, but never stayed on Bourbon Street. If you are going to spring for a hotel that is in the "middle of it all" - this is the one! The staff was exceptional. They welcomed us immediately, wasted no time checking us in and were happy to visit every time we came through the...

At the corner of Bourbon and Toulouse, the hotel is at the heart of the French Quarter. Friendly staff, good security, adequate rooms. Be advised unless you are a party animal, do not stay on Bourbon Street side. I stayed on that side the first night and it was very loud! Moved to the courtyard side for the remainder of...

Loved it all!! Room on Bourbon Street with balcony! Courtyard pool, valet parking, and nicest front desk staff. And cherry on top, great price! Oh and nice security staff too! One can never go wrong in New Orleans. And always a win win with a Starwood property.

So we needed to come to New Orleans for one night so our son could visit Tulane University. Of course it might make more sense to stay nearer to Tulane in the Garden District however we thought it would be good to stay in the French Quarter so our son could see that (since he has never been to the...

All the staff was very nice, any questions We had were promptly answered. The concierge was very helpful and recommended one of the finest restaurants I have ever been to, as well as helping with our sightseeing plans. The room was clean and nice. Beds were very comfortable. I wish We could have stayed longer.

Room nice and clean. Very cold Air conditioning. Great location. Nice balconies. Highly recommended. Great service desk staff. Rooms are really nice. Right on Bourbon St. No noise heard in room from all the action going on Bourbon St. Will definitely stay here again.

I would highly recommend the Four Points by Sheraton. The rooms were clean, the staff was always warm, welcoming and very helpful. The lady that cleaned our room was the best, we were there from sept 14 - 19 and stayed on the 3rd floor balcony street side. I don't remember her name but she was the best. The people...

I stayed here the weekend of 9/14/16. This was a good hotel, the staff was awesome, helping us to find activities and places to eat. The downside is the location. Bourbon street is really disgusting and the bad area to stay in for quiet(and yes we should have know this going in). That being said, the hotel was clean and...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
