We recently spent three nights at the Avenue Inn. Joe and Bebe were very accommodating hosts and the room we stayed in (#5) certainly fit our needs and was comfortable. Off street parking is available which is very nice. The only thing keeping me from offering 5 stars was the breakfast (continental) offered. While it wasn't bad, we found ourselves...

So happy that this guest found our mansion home to their liking. We are sad that they expected more than what we advertise which is our continental breakfast. We make every effort to ensure that guests booking with us know what we offer. Most guests do opt to go out for a formal brunch or breakfast in a town that...

My husband and I stayed here in January 2017 while attending a wedding. We used to live in New Orleans. We were very comfortable here, above all because the hosts behaved as real New Orleans residents do, not fawning & precious as can be the case at B&Bs. The patio was lovely for breakfast, the coffee was up to snuff,...

My wife and I recently spent three great days in New Orleans celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary. We had the good for fortune to stay at the Avenue Inn Bed and Breakfast in the Garden District. The owners, Joe and Bibi were most gracious and friendly as was their staff. We were made to feel at home and the accommodations...

Joe and Bibi do great job hosting people from all over the world. Green street car stop across the St.Charles will get you right to the French quarter. Vintage furniture and interior gets you back to more than hundred years. Good breakfast, snacks and fruits during a day. Strongly suggesting!

We are so lucky to enjoy the pleasure of visitors from around the world. These guests were here on business but it seems that they enjoyed the city and our mansion home as well. Hope to have them back again from Ukraine. We thank them for the kind words.

Came here for our honeymoon, i can say without a doubt that is one of the coolest places to stay in NOLA. The grounds are nice, the location is quite but still reminds you of were you are. The fact that the historic street car system is right in front is nice as a short ride will provide you access...

We love making memories and we hope this lovely couple will return for anniversaries in the future. We wish them all the best as they begin their new life together and our thanks for taking the time to mention their visit to New Orleans and our historic home.

This was an incredible experience. We had about 10 people in our group in town to do to do some cycling around NOLA and Joe was incredible to work with around our schedule and finding a safe location to hold our expensive bikes. I literally lived 12 blocks down St Charles 25 years ago and the attention to detail that...

Oh wow! What lovely comments about our mansion home. Glad our hospitality met expectations. We enjoyed having these cyclists hang with us. Maybe an annual event?

First of all- if you stay here you should know a few things before: 1) you will have to be checked in, which requires you to have to be advised of the "house rules" and the quick tour. 2) the owners are super friendly and will do absolutely what they can to make your stay enjoyable- so don't hesitate to...

So happy we met the expectations of this couple. Appreciate the kind words. Just for the record, we have no "rules", just some basic requests so that all of our guests are on the same page and enjoy the pleasures of the mansion together.

I stayed with two friends at the Avenue Inn Bed & Breakfast the last week in January. We had a wonderful experience! The B&B is located on beautiful St. Charles Avenue in the Uptown area. The home was beautifully furnished with an elegant but homey feel. Owners Joe & BeBe were very gracious and extremely helpful with sight seeing and...

This historic home has all the grand features of its original build. Tall ceilings, wood work, furnishings. We were treated very well by the owners and enjoyed the great hospitality, along with the great location to transportation (trolley).

Great location for my 1st time to Mardi Gras. It was the week before the big weekend but that was enough for me. Being on St Charles Ave was primo. We could walk or just a short ride to where we needed to be. The rooms were comfortable and the place had great charm. The host Joe & the in-keeper...
