I love Springhill Suites in every city I have stayed in. I try to always stay at one, the service is good, the rooms are nice and clean. Predictable. This time, we stayed in room 115. I would NOT recommend it. The bar across the street was loud all night. The room itself was nice. The parking is REDICULOUS, $28...

Cant rate the hotel highly enough, great reception staff that said "Welcome back" etc when you returned, just small things that cost nothing yet mean so much.Great breakfast with a wide range of food available and only a 10m walk from the french quarter.Anyone that moans about the location needs to use a treadmill now and then.

It's a great example of a Springhill, and the rooms are bright, comfortable and clean. The front desk staff is always welcoming and friendly and the location is just far enough away from Bourbon and close enough to get there if you want to. It's on a fairly quiet street in the warehouse district though the rooms on St Joseph...

I've been to banquets of all kinds all over the world but this small hotel in NOLA's Business District served up the best such dinner I've ever had - hands down! My Dad's WWII unit, the 65th Infantry Division Association, had it's reunion here to enjoy NOLA and visit the National WWII Museum. Our banquet Sunday night was the best...

We were unsure how close the hotel would be to the convention center, and were happy to find out that it was literally across the street. The hotel is conveniently located in the Warehouse district and close to several attractions and we felt very safe at all times. Rooms are small but comfy and had all the necessary amenities. Not...

We stayed here before we left on our cruise out of the Port of New Orleans. I would advise checking in on Thursday for weekend cruises. Parking goes fast but if you check in on Thursday you will have no trouble getting a parking spot inside the hotel. Hotel staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. Had a nice...

Lori, you are correct that we should never have a guest room key being given out to a non-registered guest. Please accept my sincerest apology and I am glad to hear that my team did accept ownership for this mistake and took care of you. Our first trip to New Orleans was made even better by the awesome staff at Springhill Suites. They went above and beyond on every request. From providing us an awesome suite to extra towels and friendly in the morning at breakfast...it was an incredibly visit. The breakfast was great and the room huge. They could use a little more lighting...

The front desk agents don't care about the guests. Three female front desk agents was laughing loud and unprofessional while talking about nonrelated work. There are little things that make the difference between a 2* and 3* hotel apart from price. The quality of the breakfast, any kind of afternoon snack, placing the tv in the living room of the suite instead of or in addition to the living room - This is a 2* hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful which...

We appreciate you taking the time out to share your experience with us. We are aware that some guest prefers that the TV be located nearer the bed rather than the center of the room. Staying in Arts District / Warehouse District

Neighbourhood Profile
Arts District / Warehouse District
Once a thriving industrial zone, today this district is home to a buzzing arts scene with an amazing assortment of galleries, boutiques, and studios having moved in and set up shop throughout the disused warehouses for which the area is so well known. Much of the art you'll come across here is local in scope, ownership and inspiration. However, among the many old brick warehouses are modern structures of steel and glass housing large-scale cultural institutions of national prominence such as the National World War II Museum, the Contemporary Arts Center, and the Ogden Museum of Southern Art. Just as eye catching as what’s on view inside the galleries and museums is the chance to see your ship come in at the Julia Street Cruise Terminal, which serves as a wistful reminder of the city’s historic maritime prominence.
