The hotel rooms are a little dated but the hotel itself is very nice. The best part about our stay were the managers that worked around the clock to ensure that every guest was satisfied. Brian & Michael are something to brag about!!! They made sure that things were right although we had an interesting check in process and the...

Plenty of room, typical Spring Hill. Refrigerator, mini kitchenette. Would stay there again. Going back in another 10 days for another Business trip. Staying at the Downtown Convention Center Marriott this next time. We were there from 2/15 to 2/19, Mardi Gras started 2/17 and it was also NBA All-star Weekend so our Suite price was inflated. It was nice...

This hotel was one of the gymnastic meet hotels for our team. It is very close to the convention center and two Starbucks. The staff was universally friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. The rooms are a nice size with a suite area that includes a microwave, refrigerator and a couch. The rooms were clean. While perhaps not of the most recent...

We were in New Orleans for a 4 day convention. The hotel is less than half a mile from the convention center, so walking was very very convenient. But this makes for a very busy hotel as there was another large convention staying there as well. The hotel lobby is bustling in the morning and it makes for a very...

I wanted to write a pre check in review for the great customer service I received over the phone with the Front Desk staff LaShonda and Jordan at this location. As I prepare to travel she was patient, knowledgeable and nice helping me ensure everything was ready for my family stay. Thank you again.

The staff here were all wonderful. Very helpful and welcoming. Jarod especially helped me the last day with a late checkout. Great breakfast buffet every morning. Close to the convention center. Didn't use the other amenities, but heard friends were pleased with them.

This hotel was Great for its location and price!! Our room was good size and very comfortable! My husband and I brought our three teenagers to New Orleans after we had done a visit without them. We really wanted to stay in the French Quarter again but no rooms were available for 5 guests. We were Pleasantly surprised at how...

I was booked into this room by organizers of a conference at the convention center. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are very clean, however the rooms with one bed and one pull out couch are really uncomfortable and cramped if you need to sleep on both. First, there was barely enough room to actually extend the pull-out...

Staying in Arts District / Warehouse District

Neighbourhood Profile
Arts District / Warehouse District
Once a thriving industrial zone, today this district is home to a buzzing arts scene with an amazing assortment of galleries, boutiques, and studios having moved in and set up shop throughout the disused warehouses for which the area is so well known. Much of the art you'll come across here is local in scope, ownership and inspiration. However, among the many old brick warehouses are modern structures of steel and glass housing large-scale cultural institutions of national prominence such as the National World War II Museum, the Contemporary Arts Center, and the Ogden Museum of Southern Art. Just as eye catching as what’s on view inside the galleries and museums is the chance to see your ship come in at the Julia Street Cruise Terminal, which serves as a wistful reminder of the city’s historic maritime prominence.
