The front desk agents don't care about the guests. Three female front desk agents was laughing loud and unprofessional while talking about nonrelated work. I am not sure of there names yet all are black and about the same height. I waited at the desk for about ten minutes with my items from the market until finally one of them...

Chris, I appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us and I assure you what you experienced was not the norm. I often here the opposite from those ladies so I will be sure to share your feedback with them. In our business we cannot afford to have even one bad day. As far as the TV...

There are little things that make the difference between a 2* and 3* hotel apart from price. The quality of the breakfast, any kind of afternoon snack, placing the tv in the living room of the suite instead of or in addition to the living room - This is a 2* hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful which...

We appreciate you taking the time out to share your experience with us. We are aware that some guest prefers that the TV be located nearer the bed rather than the center of the room. My staff would have been more than happy to have moved the TV to a more convenient location for your viewing pleasure. This has been...

Nice Marriott property within a 5-10 minute walk of several attractions, convention center restaurants and the National WWII Museum. I stayed 4 nights and noticed the hotel stays quite busy, which is a good thing. The rooms are spacious with mini-fridge, wet bar, sitting area, desk and large LED television. The property has a descent size outdoor pool, indoor jacuzi,...

This was the third or fourth time staying at a Marriott SpringHill Suites and it was the best service we have received on a family-oriented trip anywhere. We were visiting New Orleans for a Family Reunion with out three teenage grandsons as part of a two-week road trip from Los Angeles. We selected SpringHill Suites for a couple of reasons...

The hotel was average, nothing spectacular. This hotel is about 6 blocks from canal street. The walk is doable, but can be a long one after several times back and forth from the happening areas.Overall the staff was not friendly or helpful, When I check in I was given a room that had not been cleaned, or completed. The front...

I was in town for a quick overnight business trip and needed to stay in the downtown area. I visit New Orleans frequently for business and frequently am challenged with finding a reasonably priced hotel AND parking that is clean, comfortable, affordable, and convenient. This one meets all those criteria plus more. Staff were helpful and friendly, from the moment...

At first, we found it a little odd that our room was separated from the front desk by a parking garage, but after awhile, you get used to it. We were pleasantly, surprised to find our room had a patio by the pool. Our only complaint would be with housekeeping. One day our room wasn't cleaned at all and another...

Had to make several business trips to New Orleans and we stayed here. The rooms (suites) were nice size, the rooms were clean and well furnished. If I had anything that was a little lacking their business center was a table with a couple of computers and the printer did not work. Overall it was a good stay, parking rate...

The room is as described per pictures. The front desk check and check out was a breeze. The rooms are all suites with a sofa let out bed. This suite was equipped with 2 queens, sofa bed, flat screened tv, kitchenette. The breakfast was hot and good sometimes a little late due to someone didn't show up. My only grip...

We stayed here at the end of July for 3 nights. Room was clean enough, but there was a gap in the panel where the ac was and it made it super loud, I also noticed my daughter who slept next to it was lightly covered in a black dust. I crammed a towel in the opening which seemed to...

Dear KellyMarieChi, All I can say is that what you experienced is a total embarrassment to my team and I . I am not sure of how the issues with the pool could have possibly happened when the engineers completes a checklist each day that requires them to check and clean the pool during the AM and the PM shifts...

Staying in Arts District / Warehouse District

Neighbourhood Profile
Arts District / Warehouse District
Once a thriving industrial zone, today this district is home to a buzzing arts scene with an amazing assortment of galleries, boutiques, and studios having moved in and set up shop throughout the disused warehouses for which the area is so well known. Much of the art you'll come across here is local in scope, ownership and inspiration. However, among the many old brick warehouses are modern structures of steel and glass housing large-scale cultural institutions of national prominence such as the National World War II Museum, the Contemporary Arts Center, and the Ogden Museum of Southern Art. Just as eye catching as what’s on view inside the galleries and museums is the chance to see your ship come in at the Julia Street Cruise Terminal, which serves as a wistful reminder of the city’s historic maritime prominence.
