Mrs. Carmen was the best she was super helpful. Every morning she greeted our group with a smile. Very helpful offered dinner suggestions while we waited. I didnt even notice the wait 😄. Love this hotel and staff.

I booked late and prices were high. This was a bit cheaper and a very good pick. Nice staff, clean spacious room, and located at the corner of Canal and Bourbon. Makes it easy to hit Bourbon at night. Would stay again...

I booked the cheapest room that I could, and it was still very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff was quite accommodating and congenial. At one point our toilet handle broke, and it was fixed more quickly than I thought possible! The restaurant and bar on the first floor are very nice, but the best thing was the location. It's...

I was two doors down from the elevator and the noise of the elevator all night was unrelenting. The neighborhood is sketchy, but the bell hops were out there to make sure nobody got mugged. Convenient to the Hippie Gypsy Vape Shop, the Voodoo Market, a Hustler strip joint and Willies Daquiri store if those are important parts of your...

I was in New Orleans for a few days for a girls trip. We came from VA, FL, TX & CA! The location of the hotel was perfect! We walked everywhere! It was very clean and the service was great! I would definitely stay there again! It was a short trip to the airport too!

Nice old hotel. Perfect location for a French Quarter experience. Canal street in front has trolley cars that will take you to the Aquarium and down to French Market. The sides and back of the hotel ARE the French Quarter. The hotel has some odd art that none of the employees could explain. Great place for an event as well....

Perfectly locationed across from trolley on one side, Bourbon St on other side. Great room side, clean and modern. I will definitely be returning again for longer stay. Definitely want to spend time at the pool.

Booked online, but price quoted and price charged was higher. However, hotel corrected on check-in. On the whole hotel was very pleasant, and the staff more than helpful. Great location to everything in the centre of the city

We had many problems that were eventually resolved. 1) Valet. Not enough room to pull up. 2) broken safe. Use the big one downstairs. 3) broken faucet, fixed sort of. 4) told our room was being rekeyed but it wasn't. Mult trips downstairs to get new keys.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.

“You might want to spring for a larger room with a view, but it's really not necessary. Even the cheapest room was clean, comfortable, and spacious - and the service and value were excellent. ”
