Came down to New Orleans for 5 days to experience the fantastic culture. Stayed t the Hyatt Regency. The hotel was great. Clean rooms, the wait staff was outstanding, and the hotel was spotless wish it was a tad bit closer to Bourbon street but it's still walkable or a $4.50 Uber/Lyft ride. Highly recommend the Hyatt.

My recent 6 night stay was very pleasant. Located near Mercedes Dome. Restaurant choices excellent. Conference rooms were clean and roomy. Very friendly staff in all areas of hotel. I felt room was big in size.

Rooms were small for the amount of money you spend. Rooms were humid so a/c was not properly working. The lobby and room locations were very far away from each other. Self Parking was extremely expensive. They only have dark roast coffee in the rooms.

Hi Vanessa, Thank you for your feedback. We are sad to hear that you did not enjoy your stay. We will look into offering a variety of coffee flavors within the guest rooms. Unfortunately, we do not control parking as it is controlled by a third party company. I hope this doesn't deter you from staying with us in the...

My mini cooler stopped working twice, my iron leaked, and the air conditioner blew air directly on my bed, which was quite uncomfortable. I would expect routine checks/maintenance on such amenities so that guests don't encounter issues with them. Other than that, my son and I were very happy with everything else. The ENTIRE staff was warm and welcoming!! We...

The overall experience was great. However, the fact that the hotel seemed totally under staffed took away from what could have been an Epic Adventure. The wait time to checkin caused some major frustrations and then the fact the first day our room didn't get cleaned frustrated me to know end. The hotel itself was fantastic to hangout in.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
