Traveled to New Orleans to see a show at the Sanger theatre. The hotel is a two minute walk from the theatre which is perfect especially at night in New Orleans. The rooms are clean with a great shower (and wonderful water pressure). I requested...More
I've been to New Orleans several times and have seen The Saint each time. This is the first time I've stayed and it was definitely worth it. It's trendy, modern and definitely for adults, but still has a traditional edge to it. The staff is...More
Really liked everything about this place from the exterior to the lobby, the lobby bar, the rooms even the hall ways were very much in line of the theme. The staff was almost exclusively pleasant and helpful. The temperature controls in the room worked very...More

Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.

There is valet parking available, which can be a bit pricey. Honestly, if you don't have to have a car with you, I wouldn't. The hotel is located about two blocks from Bourbon Street (about a 5 min walk, if that) and also very close to other tourist spots (like Jackson Square, Garden District, etc.) You can always uber/lyft to places for a cheaper price than the valet parking price.
The Keurig in our room did not work and they only offered dreck from "Starbucks" in the lobby, BUT turn right out the front door, cross the side street and you are at the Ruby Slipper... great coffee AND excellent breakfasts!
