The Saint hotel provided an interesting and enjoyable first experience to New Orleans. I enjoy boutique hotels so my husband kept that in mind when selecting this hotel and also to get Marriott points as this autograph hotel is owned by Marriott. All resemblance to any Marriott ends there though. The hotel seems to have a "saints/sinners" theme. This becomes...

This property has a great locale in the French Quarter and steps away from Bourbon Street and Royal. The ambience is very sultry and sexy with blue lights lighting the corridors, a three hour, amazing Burlesque show at the hotel bar on select Friday nights and special suites such as the Lucifer Suite. It is on Canal street so it...

Not overly impressed. We decided to stay at The Saint again to give it another try and had the same experience as last year – wonderful, friendly staff and a just-ok hotel. The first floor is nice, it is the guest room floors that leave a lot to be desired to be called a boutique hotel. Nothing wrong, just nothing...

Great location. Close to all attractions. Room are nice. Service is NONEXISTENT!!!Bar is nice with fantastic band, however Bartenders appear to be drunk! Might as well bring your own alcohol (which I saw several people doing) because it takes forever to get service. We went to the bar 2-nights in a row, I stood at the bar and NEVER got...

This hotel was beautiful. I loved the blue lighted hallways and the exquisite details from the lobby to the elevators! Would definitely stay again and I have recommended friends and family to stay there when they travel to New Orleans. Perfect weekend getaway and great location! Slept like a saint!

This hotel was really a let down for my girlfriend and I. The pics looked great and it seemed to have a boutique feel to it. The fact that it was a Marriott property made me feel more confident in booking a hotel I had never stayed at before. Well, I'm sorry I stayed there! Thursday night (or Friday morning...

The Hotel Staff of Liz, Stephanie, Eddie, Kentrell, Jonny and Terryann were truly awesome. I enjoy being around such pleasant people who enjoy their jobs. This was my first time visiting the Big Easy. The recommended place to eat and visit were excellent. The rooms was very comfortable, relaxing, clean, neat and always equipped during my entire stay.

Nice and clean hotel. I secured a fair room rate of 139.00 per night and I only five minutes walk to Bourbon Street. Shopping and restaurants are just minutes from the hotel. My flightI was delayed two hours because of weather and I was able to secure a late check-out just after 10:30 AM. I would recommend for business or...

A weekend stay that started with a room not ready until later in the afternoon. This alone was okay but there seemed to be consistent confusion and attitude at the front desk. It almost seemed that we were bothering them by checking in - strange. Okay, the room, while decent and at first glance looked nice, it was certainly nothing...

This hotel is very different from what you would expect from a typical hotel... The décor is very unique and offers guests a relaxed nightclub type of atmosphere. Tayla greeted me at check-in and was very eager to make my experience memorable. Seeing that I was a Platinum member, she went the extra mile and upgraded me to the Gabrielle...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
