Loved the bed and breakfast. Our room was to die for. We stayed in number 10. It's a walk up, but one you are up there you are in your own heaven. Peace and quiet with no street noise that we heard. The courtyards are lovely and KIM was the best. She made our stay an enjoyable one and the...

Quiet location in the garden district. Convenient access to streetcart. Charming B&B. Clean. Staff very friendly and helpful (also in accommodating a person with dietary restrictions). Great breakfast!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this wonderful B&B. It was my first time in New Orleans and staying at a B&B, and I must say I was VERY IMPRESSED. The old house was magnificently kept up and had a lot of character and charm! Bathrooms were smaller but had all new appliances. I loved the staff!!! Kim, the innkeeper,...

My only complaint was that I couldn't eat more breakfast every. The food is wonderful and Kim makes the guests feel very much at home. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a real flavor of New Orleans.

This was our very first stay at a Bed & Breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed it & it turned out to be the right decision. Kim was beyond wonderful, made us the best breakfast every morning and answered tons of questions via email before we even got there. She helped us decide which tours to take and told us about the...

We really enjoyed this beautiful bed and breakfast. This section of town felt much more "authentic" than the touristy areas I have been to before. A short block walk and you can take the trolley anywhere. Innkeeper/chef Kim was so gracious and gave us great restaurant recommendations. Her homemade jams and wonderful breakfasts were so enjoyable! We will be back!

This was a real treat! I selected this particular B&B due to its historical nature and its location in the Garden District. It really is a stunning property. (We had the large room on the front with the huge balcony.)Tracey was a wonderful hostess and her breakfasts were delicious. I particularly enjoyed being able to wander around the area to...

My wife and I chose The Parisian Courtyard Inn to stay during our 25th Wedding Anniversary trip based on the excellent reviews on Trip Advisor. All I can say is that they were spot on! So, you think you know your B&Bs. I challenge you on this one - no doubt the best we've ever stayed in. We travel a lot, always looking for unique B&Bs. Tracy's Parisian Courtyard Inn is simply the best one we've ever visited. Built in the 1800's, it's a beautiful restored home. The room was large and comfortable with a...

Staying in Garden District

Neighbourhood Profile
Garden District
Head to the Garden District for the full-on New Orleans experience replete with quaintly clanking streetcars, proudly grandiose antebellum mansions, picture perfect avenues lined with live oaks loaded down with Spanish moss, and a wealth of beautiful churches and many more architectural marvels. Even a brief excursion here makes plain why it’s called the Garden District. So, when you visit be sure to give yourself ample time for admiration at a languidly slow pace befitting such gentile strand of riverside living and to allow you to maximize each opportunity to stop and smell the roses – and whichever other blooms you might come across. While taking it all in, you’d do well to dine at one of the city’s most beloved destinations for regional cuisine. Gourmands from far and wide (and right round the corner) swear the age-old Commander’s Palace is the best restaurant in town – and have been doing so since it opened back in 1880.
