Checked n and check out service excellent. Management very attention be to issues. Breakfasts were very good. Dinner food average but service very good. Room were clean and comfortable. Biggest issue was housecleaning never left soap, shampoo or regular coffee. I still recommend.

Checked in Friday 4/7/17 but received a call the day before to see if I needed anything when I arrived. Nice touch. Up on arrival was greeted by very helpful staff to explain the parking. The young man (Floyd) who helped us to the 11th floor to check-in where we were greeted by best check-in staff ever extremely nice even...

Staff so accommodating and location fabulous. Check in on floor 12 which is different from other hotels I've been to so if I did not notice it, it should be put in their web site. I just happened to see it on the elevator sign when I didn't see a front desk on ground floor.

I am a Hilton family only hotel person. This is by far the worst I have ever been in. Pickle, raisin, & nuts on the floor. So obviously not cleaned. Door won't close unless you slam it. TP not replenished in the bathroom. And housekeeping walked in & flipped on light, afternoon that we checked in and was like "oops"....

We were able to enjoy a fabulous room just a couple of blocks from Bourbon Street (intersection of Bourbon and Canal, very good!) and a block from a streetcar stop. The room itself was quite nice and included a refrigerator and microwave which was awesome for our trip.

Excellent customer service! The concierge was very helpful with the amenities. They front desk also did a great job by giving us restaurant recommendations and were very on top of the style of food/restaurants we were looking for.

I found this hotel to be in a perfect location, easy walking or trolley to anywhere i wished to go. You can have a all you can eat buffet breakfast or cereal and toast, priced accordingly. Great Staff. Ask for room 1711 for a nice view. Even the windows were clean on the outside.

This was my second time staying at this property and I really wish that my trips would allow me to stay more than one night here as this is such a great property. Everything from the seating area in the lobby, to the dining area, to the room I stayed in was clean and in great condition. As a Diamond...

This is close to the French Quarter but distant enough so that the street noise is reasonable. I asked for a quiet room, which I got. Toni at the front desk was most accommodating and helpful, and the breakfast crew were great. Not so good: The room telephone's buttons for front desk and valet parking only produced busy signals, but...

The breakfast was usually an omelette any way you wanted it with bacon or sausage or potatoes. Then there was fruit along with bread or cupcakes. You were offered orange juice or apple juice along with coffee.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
