My mother and I stayed at this property in April so I could attend a conference and we could visit New Orleans. The location is fabulous. It's several older buildings kind of joined together and renovated into a hotel. There's a cute courtyard with a small pool. The lobby space is gorgeous with enough room for breakfast tables, a small...

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel for four nights over the jazz fest. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was very comfortable with sizeable bedrooms and a charming central area. And the hotel is very well located close to the French quarter and within easy walking distance of the streetcar. My only reservation was...

I am glad you had a great stay, and apologize for breakfast not being to your liking. We always try to provide a quality meal for guests to start the day with, and I am disappointed to know it did not hit the mark. Hopefully we can get another shot if you return to the city!

We really enjoyed our stay in New Orleans and our stay at this hotel. . Close to the French quarter but away from the noise and easy to walk everywhere . We found the hotel very quiet and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and everything went smoothly. It is close to the tram to see other parts of...

The breakfast has plenty of options and variety and is a good deal. The beds are comfortable and the courtyard by the pool is very beautiful and relaxing to sit in, even in the heat. The exposed bricks and beams add an extra charm, a nod to the European influence in the architecture. A very nice departure from the standard...

We often use the phrase "best of both worlds" when describing both the location, and atmosphere at the hotel. It sounds like you agree and loved being close enough to stroll to all the attractions without getting the noise from them; as well as all the modern amenities in a historic boutique setting. I am glad you enjoyed your time...

Our very first visit to New Orleans was excellent and the staff from the hotel were very helpful. They treated us like family. The only negative side was our room which was by the street side with construction and noisy, with people standing outside our window talking loudly and caused us to keep up us for a good night sleep....

First time in New Orleans and loved the hotel. The hotel is in a central location. It is wonderful to see the old buildings being used for hotels. They are upgrading property on both sides of the hotel. We loved the World War 11 museum. The cable cars are a great and convenient. Mardi Gras tour was very informative.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
