i am so glad you enjoyed your stay. I'm sorry I missed you while I was out of town, but Cindee is a great inn keeper, as you noticed. I hope to see you next time!
I found the Burgundy on the internet for a place to stay in New Orleans after a cruise for my daughter and I. We had never been to New Orleans and were completely unfamiliar with the area. We decided to check out a bed and...More
This B&B is incredibly charming. The house is beautiful and is on a quiet street in the Marigny which is such a fun neighborhood. Easy walking to Bywater to the East and the Quarter and CBD to the West assuming you like to walk and...More
We arrived on our motorcycle on a very cold day in mid-March. The housekeeper, seeing us still shivering, put a lovely space heater in our room (it took us two hours to warm up enough to head out to sight-see!). Room was lovely, quiet and...More
Nestled between the French Quarter and the Ninth Ward, the Faubourg Marigny & Bywater environs are largely residential. Of course, folks around here love to go out and have a good time as much as they do anywhere in NOLA. And if out-of-towners want to join in the festivities, well then so much the better! Home to some of the most revered live music venues in New Orleans, an eclectic gaggle of gourmand dining
destinations, and a come-as-you-are vibe that’s as infectious as it is alluring, this is real deal New Orleans oozing with southern hospitality and the promise of a most epic night out. For endless opportunities to boogie, to admire row upon row of lovingly restored homes, and to escape the fray of the more touristic parts of town (but still live it up in grand style) head to Faubourg Marigny & Bywater.
If you can fit down a 3 ft wide alley you can park in the alley or push all the way to the back courtyard. The bikers I have had until now have opted to leave their bikes on the street and there has never been a problem.
