Very nostalgic and exactly as the French Quarter is and should be kept. Loved it. Can't wait to return to New Orleans and have another great adventure taking in the entire wonderful area. We barely scratched the surface of all the great things to do.We would definitely stay in this hotel again. Very clean surroundings and staff were very helpful...

Had a chance to sit on the balcony and just relax. Something I needed being six months pregnant everything worked out perfect. Love the room and it's lay out. Because I booked a different room for the next day in the same hotel. They allowed me to stay in the same room for the same price of the other. And...

.Room and property was beautiful. Location was second to none. Only problems encountered were with the roaches and gnats that shared our room because of the hole that led outside. Staff did return our call after checkout and gave us some sort of refund.

Smallest room ever! I know you don't stay in the room the whole time on vacation but we avoided the room almost altogether bc of how small it was. Claustraphobia is an understatement. The staff was great though

Beautiful hotel with great charm. Close to everything in the French Quarter. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and offered great suggestions of places to eat and drink. The court yard rooms offered great charm.

Everything was pretty much perfect! The one staff member me and my fiancé both enjoyed talking to each day we were in and out was Eric. He was most likely the best staff member we've ever encountered! His customer service, knowledge of the area, and very sociable friendly attitude was off the charts!

The rooms were minuscule and they needed some serious upkeep. There were torn rug edges that you had to be careful not to trip on. However, it was clean. The staff was very friendly, especially Eric, who was knowledgeable, attentive, and helpful. A great location in the Quarter.

The staff was wonderful especially Eric - he was AWESOME ! They were always friendly and were happy to help us with what ever we needed. The hotel is older and charming. Rooms are smaller but very comfortable and they were above all clean. Can't beat great location and great service. We have 3 couples and they even accommodated us...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
