Enjoyed our stay at Hotel St. Pierre. Our room was large, clean and quiet. Breakfast in the morning was pretty standard but the staff kept the coffee pot full, so all was good. Hotel was the original jazz museum in NO, but has been converted to a hotel and the addition of several cottages create a unique setting. Right in...

Great and beautiful courtyards and lobby rooms are really cool with a musician themed for each room ! The devils in the details and some of the cleaning could have been a little deeper Jamal Martin has been an exceptional help and is one of many kind employees here

Great location, rooms are nice but did not have a full length mirror. We loved the courtyards and history of the hotel. Breakfast was average. Location is close enough to Bourbon to walk back and forth and far enough away to escape the craziness!

Hotel St Pierre has that Old World architecture with nooks and crannies, balconies and courtyards. It felt more like staying with your wonderful Aunt Edna than a hotel in a big city. Breakfast in the lobby was grits, eggs, sausage and pastries, and Gregory makes sure all the guests are well-fed and feel at home. We took our plates out...

The staff assulted my boyfriend, broke my luggage, and made us drive intoxicated. I was then charged a $600 fine and verbally attacked by the front desk staff. It ruined my whole trip and I will never be coming back. I'm very upset. This was honestly the worst hotel I've ever stayed at due to the staff.

The property is beautiful, courtyard was quaint and perfect for breakfast and meeting spot. I wish the hotel staff would've been more cordial and attentive to specific requests. I asked that a wine basket be put together for my in-laws anniversary I was told 'we will take care of that' and they didn't receive anything - the lack of follow...

We liked Hotel St. Pierre because it is close to pretty much everything and is pretty much within the French Quarter, but just a tad on the outskirts so that it is quiet. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, and they have a breakfast each morning. The rooms are not super huge, but they are very adequate. The bathroom...

Great location. The staff was great and very accomodating. Rooms could and should be cleaner. Maintenance and upkeep of facility could use a little more attention. Parking was a little difficult but what should you expect in the French Quarters. Overall if these couple of things were taken care of I would stay again.

Lovely hotel in the quarter - within nice walking distance of the action in a quiet neighborhood. They offer a nice breakfast in the morning which we enjoyed - and there is always coffee available in lobby. There is a small courtyard pool - we enjoyed hanging out there. There is also a little corner store nearby to buy soda...

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel St. Pierre! The cottage style layout with the courtyards is so charming. You feel like you are really a part of the history of New Orleans. Perhaps our favorite thing was the actual location. You are close enough to walk to everything you need to in the French Quarter, but you are far...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.

On the National Register of Historic Places, the Hotel St. Pierre, with its authentic French Colonial cottages dating back to the 1700's, embodies the architecture, romance, and ambiance of a bygone era. Contributing greatly to the hotel's charm is the relaxed atmosphere of this quiet residential section of the French Quarter. One would never guess its proximity to world class dining, culture, and the lively nightlife of Bourbon Street. Secluded lush tropical courtyards, balconies, pools, and fountains help make this the perfect spot for a family vacation, romantic escape, or storybook wedding, as well as for incentive trips, reunions, and family vacations. “remember this hotel is old and has no elevators - most likely you will have to deal with steps”

“The carpet was absolutely filthy I would not let a homeless person or a dog sleep on it. There were cobwebs in the corner of the room along with a load of plaster from the walls behind a chair in the corner. The cleaners did not leave us any clean towels or soap or usual items included. They could not be bothered to clean the coffee machine or empty the ice bucket. It cost us over £1500 to say here for four nights what a shame and a disappointment. The paintwork was black on the doors with use and when it wasnt like that it had not paint on at all. I accept that the place is old but this has nothing to do with it. The staff on reception were especially lovely it Ryan! great guy. however one manager wanted to put our valuables in box in his desk draw due to their being no safety deposit boxes left to rent hardly acceptable to us anyway being security officers!”
