Hotel heeft een goede ligging in de French Quater. Maar voor de rest niets positief. Oud en alles behalve proper buiten de inkomhal. Geen aanrader! Not far from Bourbon street and that is the only good thing. Old en dirty ! Noisy rooms. Would not go again !

This hotel may be the best kept secret in the Quarter. It's historical , it's quaint and has a helpful and professional staff. A free breakfast is included and much more than the traditional continental. Our breakfasts included grits, eggs, assorted meats, juice and bread selections. It's an easy walk to Bourbon St or the French Market and less than...

Location: This hotel was in an excellent location. Just a few blocks over from the main area on Bourbon street, so very easy to walk. The down side is that if you get a room that has windows on the street (as opposed to the inner court yard) like we did, you hear all the street noise (drunk people walking,...

Made hotel reservation only to arrive and have confirmed prepaid room changed. They called it an upgrade but I'm not convinced. Also, expensive car parking fee that is not presented until arrival... was told it would be an additional $39 for ONE NIGHT but was charged $44. NO HELP with luggage and very steep narrow staircases. Was instructed to present...

Like visiting a Jazz Museum, Great location and great staff. The room was gorgeous. Will stay there anytime I visit Nola, walking distance of all the French quarter, Very affordable. The kids loved 2 swimming pools.

We are a group of moms who take annual trips to get away from the reality. We like to think that we are low-key fun people who expect top notch quality and service. We don't require the fanciest of the rooms, but first and foremost don't like to do "mom" things when we are on vacation. Justin (concierge) is hard-working,...

We've stayed at this hotel three times over the last two years. It's three blocks off Bourbon Street so it's a bit quieter, a plus. We've always received great service. A couple times we arrived several hours before check-in time and they let us park our car in their lot while we went "touring". The rooms have names of famous...

The location is definitely the best part of this hotel. However, I've stayed at Motel 8s that were the same quality. There were bugs in the shower one morning, it didn't drain, and the water pressure in the shower was pathetic. I understand that it's an old hotel, but it did not feel clean. Also, we paid $40 a night...

My daughter and I were delighted when we arrived at Hotel St. Pierre. We loved the appearance; both at the front and as we entered into a lobby filled with the spirit of New Orleans. The staff was professional, friendly and helpful. We loved the courtyard area and couldn't believe how the feel of our room transported us back to...

Let loose a little. Think of it as staying at your eccentric old aunt's estate. Some of it is great. Some of it has a few little problems. Declining decadence-or NOLA! This is what you came for! We love this place!

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.

On the National Register of Historic Places, the Hotel St. Pierre, with its authentic French Colonial cottages dating back to the 1700's, embodies the architecture, romance, and ambiance of a bygone era. Contributing greatly to the hotel's charm is the relaxed atmosphere of this quiet residential section of the French Quarter. One would never guess its proximity to world class dining, culture, and the lively nightlife of Bourbon Street. Secluded lush tropical courtyards, balconies, pools, and fountains help make this the perfect spot for a family vacation, romantic escape, or storybook wedding, as well as for incentive trips, reunions, and family vacations. Valet parking available for $32.95 plus tax per vehicle per night. ... more   less
