The hotel was very nice, and the room was quaint and kind of tucked away from the main part of the hotel. Yet the front desk was less than a few hundred feet away. It was nice, and in a nice part of the French Quarter. The walk was no more than ten minutes to the hopping part of Bourbon...

Just got back from a 4 day stay at the lovely Hotel. St. Pierre. It is centrally located and walking distance to almost everything! Check in was a breeze but wasnt very friendly. We also had friends staying and the rooms were different, one was smaller but bigger bathroom, different A/C and heating units but no big deal, we just...

This gem, situated in the French Quarter of New Orleans, offers and delivers impeccable service and hospitality. Pretty with it's foliage in the courtyards, clean and historically charming. The energy is happy and friendly. All rooms have their own special flavour! Lucky to have found and experienced Hotel St Pierre.

We booked a block at the Hotel St. Pierre for our wedding weekend, and it was fantastic! Our experience started with Ryan, their group sales manager. Ryan was always very friendly and professional. I originally wanted to block a larger number of rooms, but when I told him the wedding size he recommended I block less to avoid penalties. His...

Loved this hotel, very authentic and exactly what we wanted to experience during our trip to New Orleans location was great, we literally walked to almost everywhere we visited. When we ventured out to Garden District and Canal Street we spend $3.00 per person and travelled on local transit for the whole afternoon. Rooms are smaller but very comfortable bed,...

The front desk staff at this hotel are very good - Superb service, assistance with bags, quick and through, and difficult to fault. The rooms are historic, so are smaller. Amenities good also - beds were very comfortable and linen excellent. I wish they had better curtains to block out the external building lights. The toilet and bath in my...

Very old buildings which where most likely the rooms for the plantation helpers. Has kept the unique style of the south. Rooms are very small but efficient. Personnel is very helpfull and courteous. Very close (walking distance) to Bourbon st. and the french quarters.

This is the only kind of hotel you should stay at in New Orleans. Rooms were beautiful with exposed brick and high ceilings, the courtyards were lovely, the lobby was beautifully decorated for the holidays. While there wasn't a huge selection for breakfast, it was filling and always well stocked. Plus they have milk and cookies midday. The neighborhood was...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.

On the National Register of Historic Places, the Hotel St. Pierre, with its authentic French Colonial cottages dating back to the 1700's, embodies the architecture, romance, and ambiance of a bygone era. Contributing greatly to the hotel's charm is the relaxed atmosphere of this quiet residential section of the French Quarter. “We got a small bedroom with one King. It was really small for two people but adequately. Next time, I will choose a larger bedroom with two queens. The continental breakfast was more than we bargained for...hot scrambled eggs, either bacon or sausage, pancakes and great coffee!! Service was always friendly and very helpful!”
