We loved staying at this hotel. It is a little old, but the furnishings and finishings are very well kept, making it elegant. Our room was clean every day when we returned to it, sometimes after only having been gone for 2-3 hours. The hotel staff was very friendly and the front desk was helpful. You do hear a lot...

I suggest this hotel if you are visiting Bourbon due to its convenient location. The staff was friendly in the lobby and I loved the $7.00 drink ticket that prompted me to check out the bar area. My overall experience was magnificent and I will return.

Everything was clean. Pool area was nice. Did not eat at the restaurant. Walking distance to the Aquarium. You will have about s 25 minute wait on Valet but that's to be expected. Staff were so kind. Awesome place to stay.

Noise! Noise! Noise! How do u not tell your guests you are going to need earplugs and those will not even work? Unless you want to be in a party room then do not choose this or you will be disappointed like myself. My husband and I purchased a travel franchise in February, and this has been the most disappointing...

Nice hotel with a good location. Rooms were comfortable. The temperature control excellent. Staff was accommodating. Lobby was large and welcoming, with coffee and ice tea/ water during the day. Newspapers were available.

The staff is great. Room was nice,,,,,,could have been cooler. And I guess since it is the French Quarter, the total removal of the street odor would be difficult to totally remove from the property. Your breakfast is wonderful!

Beds were full, not queen size, which caused a little frustration for my husband and me, otherwise every thing was excellent. Had a petite balcony and enjoyed sitting out there after dark and listening to the music from Bourbon Street!

Best place to stay in the French Quarter. This is my third stay at Bourbon Orleans and I highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are spacious, the beds are extremely comfortable and the staff is excellent. You can't beat the location. This is my "go to" hotel in NOLA.

I've stayed at the Bourbon "O" a total of 8 times now, and hope to visit many more times. The staff's attitude has always been among the most pleasant anywhere. The rooms are top notch too. Very comfortable.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
