A block off of Bourbon Street, so noise was not a problem. The receptionist- Rachel H.- was as helpful and welcoming as we could have wished. The rooms were very comfortable, and the buffet breakfast was excellent. A nice pool, but weather was too cold to swim during our stay. Valet parking staff was very efficient.

It is always a pleasure to stay at the Bourbon Orleans. The location is the best and so are the people who work here. When you walk out of the front door you can see the St. Louis Cathedral on your left. On your right is Bourbon Street. You walk out of the bar on to Bourbon Street. LOCATION!!! The...

Located right in the middle of the block between Bourbon Street and Royal Street, a short walk let's you choose the best of both worlds of New Orleans. Guest rooms are generous, newly renovated and comfortable. WiFi is free and works well. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

My wife and I returned again to Bourbon Orleans Hotel for our wedding anniversary and all was excellent. Front desk greeted us by name. So I went to local florist to buy three roses (one for each of our children) for my wife. When I returned to hotel, I asked housekeeping if they had a vase. To my surprise, housekeeping...

Needs to replace plugs in room, plus have more than one besides the bathroom plug which plug would stay in. The location was excellent. Loved breakfast in hotel, no wait, great choice and very good, service great!

The staff and location were awesome! However, the door was extremely hard to close completely, there was a mini cockroach in the bathroom (which I understand can happen), and the room was very small/cramped. (I was there for a wedding so I was able to see other rooms in the hotel). Also on the last day when check out was...

The room was large enough to accommodate our group of 4 women and quiet enough for us to sleep at night. The hotel was in a great location, walking distance to everything. Fun bar downstairs and great hotel staff! Coffee, water and ice tea available in the hotel lobby.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
