The Bourbon Orleans Hotel is really a nice Hotel to stay in the middle of the French Quarter. And the rooms are quiet - even located around the Bourbon Street. French Market, Cathedral and other sights are just a short walk. Very nice and helpfull staff. Valet parking is pricey (but seems to be normal for NOLA).

Excellent service and spacious rooms made Halloween weekend at the Bourbon Orleans a special treat. Location in the middle of the French Quarter made everything convenient and when taxis were needed, they were quickly summoned by the bellman. A look into the history of the hotel, as well as a peek into the Ballroom of the early 1800's added mystery...

We recently spent four nights at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms very so clean and comfortable. That is a fantastic bar! We are...

If you want the true experience of NOLA French quarter this is the place to be. Great location, very friendly staff. Halls were a little noisy, other guests could be a little more courteous about voice levels in the hallways.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
