We had a great time. Walking distance from Bourbon Street, the market, cathedral and Cafe Dumont. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star was because when I got there they said I wasn't booked. Luckily I'm OCD so I had copies of my receipt with the dates. Then when I checked out. They were charging me for...

The hotel location, staff, property was outstanding. The lobby, guestroom, lounge and pool were lovely. I am a Director of Sales and Marketing for a world renown hotel chain and I am extremely critical of each area. This hotel was a 10+++

Hotel is right off Bourbon Street and I found it was a great location to barhop and check out the French Quarter. We were given a free drink voucher to enjoy in the "O" bar. They're were no strings attached. A free drink. Awesome way to start your NOLA trip. We arrived ahead of check-in, but our room was ready...

You cannot beat the location, the staff is friendly and the facility well maintained. Jazz in the bar downstairs and an attractive pool area were added attractions. We would stay here again if in the area.

This was my third visit to the French Quarter and my favorite venue. Round the corner from Jackson Square and with popular spots like Pat O'Briens in easy reach. It has it's own bar which I enjoyed and the room was excellent. I'll be staying here again next time.

We just loved the historic hotel and you can't have a better central location in New Orleans if you want to explore the French Quarter. Our room was on the 6th floor overlooking Bourbon St. and was clean and comfortable. The bed was one of the most comfortable that we have ever slept on in a hotel. The charge for...

The hotel itself is in a great location and beautifully maintained. It's situated two doors down from St. Louis cathedral which is right next to Jackson Square. The other side of the property is right on Bourbon street. The staff was extremely friendly and very accommodating. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. It does get quite loud in the...

The desk clerk that check me out was very rude and was yelling at me. She was very unprofessional, she don't have any manners. But everybody else was very nice. The valet people and bell men was nice to us. The house keeper just walks right in yo room without knocking.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
