Great wedding experience in Nola. The hotel is old but updated and has good facilities. Bedrooms are small and bathrooms like wise but very comfortable. Pillows are not comfortable, however, The bar drinks are expensive but good, the bloody Mary was excellent. Very convenient location. Highlight of the stay was the wedding reception and food.

I chose the hotel for it's location. First time in New Orleans and I wanted to be close to the tourist stuff. The courtyard is beautiful. The location is about perfect. The restaurant staff was friendly and the food was better than expected. Room service was prompt. The staff seemed over worked and not particularly friendly, with the exception of...

Oh thank goodness for Bolton, the valet guy. He heard my car roll into the driveway and knew right away that my civic had no more oil. My 3 siblings and i had driven all the way from Massachusetts. He recommended the type of oil to buy from down the street and helped us put in the oil. Super friendly...

The location is wonderful and quite historical. Staff was very nice. Food was good. However, but at $200 plus per night, no complimentary water, no fridge, no couch, just a bed, TV and minimal size bathroom, not sure we recommend this hotel again.

Bad attitudes and bad service. We would not use this hotel again. It is expensive and not worth it. Check in was rude and housekeeping inept. Our bath supplies were never replaced and we were there for three nights!

Great location!!! Within walking distance to everything!! Pool was beautiful!! Room comfortable. Poolside service was slow and not super friendly. Had small problem with room service but front desk handled it immediately!

The rooms are very simple and old. I did not feel that the room or bathroom were properly cleaned. There were piles of pillows and sheets in the hallways on both days. The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. We were there for an onsite wedding in the courtyard so the noise did not bother us. Front desk staff was...

Best thing about this hotel was the location and one of the bartenders - Sarah. The "King size" bed room we were charged for was a double. Should have been charged as such. But Sarah took great care of us at the bar!

First class! Attended a beautiful wedding there made special by the hotel. Wedding in courtyard followed by brass band leading us down the street, police escort, then on to reception in the hotel. Perfect!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Great location in the quarter but quiet enough to where you don't hear the hustle and bustle late at night. There were ALOT of people staying here this past weekend, and the hotel staff handled everyone efficiently and friendly. On site restaurant was also very good, the Bloody Mary is a meal in itself!...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
