Lamothe House is well situated with clean, comfortable rooms, great service, and a friendly staff that is willing to go the extra distance to make your stay more enjoyable. I left a favorite shirt behind and they mailed it home to me.

Just stayed here for Mardi Gras 2018 and the room was fantastic. The historic decor much better than the cookie cutter big chain hotels. The location was fantastic as well with an easy walk to the parade routes on Canal. The back of the hotel...More

I love historical places, this hotel was built in 1936, elevators, and no luxury amenities..like the fancier hotels, if love antique and uniqueness than you would love it and if don't you need to stay somewhere else. It was my first time in NOLA and...More

I'm from New Orleans, but don't live there anymore. I decided to treat my friend from out of town to a suite at the Lamothe House. The total including tax was around $250 per night. We loved the decor of the place, and were curious...More

Faubourg Marigny & Bywater
Nestled between the French Quarter and the Ninth Ward,
the Faubourg Marigny & Bywater environs are largely
residential. Of course, folks around here love to go
out and have a good time as much as they do anywhere
in NOLA. And if out-of-towners want to join in the
festivities, well then so much the better! Home to

It is $20 a night to park in the lot. It connects to the back part of the hotel and they give you a remote to open the gate so you can go in and out as you please.
