Very friendly and helpful front desk and concierge staff. Decent hotel in a prime location for the French Quarter. Adequate room size, clean, and very comfortable bed. This location appears to be starting a renovation. Much needed. Although clean, our room was dated and showing signs of wear and tear. This is a very large location. Expect a lot of...

Very satisfied with this hotel. The rooms were clean. I was able to check in early. The location was perfect, right on the edge of the French Quarter. The person at the front desk was extremely friendly and welcoming.

Stayed 3 nights here at the suggestion of local friends who were organizing reunion of sorts & had blocked some rooms for the out-of-towners. First the good: the hotel is going through some renovations & what we saw was very nice - The lobby is beautiful, and was bustling with activity pretty much all the time. The Quarter Tower rooms...

Sure, I'm a little creeped-out by the transparency with which our computer overlords have revealed themselves with the elevators, but the hotel is so conveniently located, and the staff so efficient and friendly - that I just over look the loss of agency and trust myself entirely to the AI gods that be. Good room, good stay, recommended.

iseektoknow, Thanks for sharing your feedback. We are pleased you found the room you received as well as the location to be enjoyable during your visit. We are sorry for the challenge you encountered with the reservation you had reserved with Harrah’s Casino and the noise you experienced from your room. I was hesitant to stay at this Marriott since it is ranked lower than some of the others in the city. I actually cancelled reservations I had in December to stay at the Courtyard Ibervile (which is a mediocre at best hotel). My stay was excellent! I have never reviewed a hotel before but felt it necessary to for this...

Had an awesome time. The staff is really generous and willing to help. Clean room that was quiet and comfortable. Hotel is close to Bourban St. Located on the edge of the French Quarter, Harrah's is down the street. Many places were within walking distance.

The room was very small with an even smaller bathroom. It was clean. Needs to be updated especially the bathroom. Location was good and the staff was friendly. Average at best. Probably would stay somewhere else upon return.

The hotel was very nice. The concierge staff was very helpful. The room we stayed in was tight even for 2 people. Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
