From the door man who greets you as you arrive at curbside, to the desk attendant, to the bell hop you handles your luggage, everyone is friendly, courteous, and eager to please. We found the room clean, in very good condition, and most importantly the bed and pillows were almost like an anesthetic. Probably the best hotel sleep we have...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 1 week ago

I have been staying in the Quarter for 50 years and have visited many hotels there over the years. Omni Royal Orleans has become my number one all-time favorite. From the bellmen, doormen, valet, front desk, bartenders and everything in between, this hotel employs top notch people. The location in the Quarter is excellent. Central and convenient. Cabs and Uber...

It's my new favorite hotel! Location is perfect, we never moved our vehicle and walked or trollyed everywhere. Their restaurant The Rib Room was delish! Best steaks ever. Everyone was accommodating and so nice. My one and only little complaint would be the Bathroom is small but probably normal size back when it was built, but certainly not a deal...

I just came back two week ago from visiting Omni Royal. This hotel exceeded are expectations. I recommend before going for you to sign up for Omni Select on their main website. Our room was on the smaller side, but for the location and amenities it was not an issue. The hotel itself is clean and welcoming, offering cold water on hot days in the lobby. The rooftop pool and bar is a great way to take a breather from the big easy. Everyone was friendly and clearly enjoy their workplace. I...

The room was nice, with a really comfortable bed. The location was excellent, within walking distance of many of the things we wanted to do. The view of the city from the roof was a great view of the river and a relaxing place to enjoy a drink. The staff was nice and ready to help.

The absolute best thing about this hotel is the location. We parked our car and didn't use it once during our stay. We had dinner at Muriel's in Jackson Square and dinner at NOLA. Both were easy walks. We even walked to the WWII museum. The worst thing was paying $50 a night for parking the car. We liked the...

Wonderful hotel. We were greeted by the front door each day by Mr. LeRoy. He was such a wonderful worker who made us feel welcomed and comfortable at the hotel. The entire staff was great and the location could not be better. This is a fine hotel.

The hotel is in the French Quarter, one block away from Bourbon Street, and directly across the street from Louisiana State Supreme Court. The location is perfectly situated, quiet, and safe. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The interior of the hotel is beautifully decorated. The only drawback is that the hotel rooms tend to be a bit smaller...

This was our first trip to NOLA and I used TA to find us something close to Bourbon Street to sample the local neighborhood. This Omni came highly recommended and we booked it. (Beware that Reservations.com tricks you on Google search thinking this is the official website and it's not, charging a $20 service fee!!!!) This hotel was built in...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
