The hotel was very clean and had no issues. I was here for a conference and the facilities were very good and the staff was accommodating. I was able to upgrade to club level being an SPG member and it was worth it. Unlimited bottles of water and full meals for breakfast and dinner.

We really enjoyed it here and the only complaint I have is the elevators are VERY noisy in the rooms if you are anywhere near them. They were very nice about it and moved us after the first night so it was much less noticeable. On the up side, for a hotel with a lot of floors, the elevators were...

Decided to stop in New Orleans on our way back to Texas from a trip to Florida. WOW what a mistake, with the rooms booked we felt safe to stay at the Sheraton, why wouldn't we its a great chain. The hotel caused a 4 block - 3 hour back up on Canal street and declined to answer their calls....

Thank you for your review. We apologize that the wait in valet parking disauded you from staying with us. Unfortuantely during special events, such as luncheons or dinners, where there is a large local attendance valet can become backed up as there is only one entrance to the garage and we are sorry that you encountered that. We are very...

Fairly conveniently situated on Canal Street, it is easy to walk to the French Quarter, riverside etc You need to allow plenty of time to get from your room to the lobby because the lifts are always busy. At peak times there is a queue for breakfast because there is inadequate seating to cope with large numbers. The rooms are...

Thank you for your review. We are happy that our prime location and super comfortable Sheraton Sleep Experience beds added to the enjoyment of your stay. We do realize that during peak periods both the elevators and restaurants can experience longer than average wait times and we apologize if that caused you any inconvenience. We do hope to have the...

Just stayed at the Sheraton on a 4 day trip to NOLA. Hotel was great and the staff was amazing. We ate in the bar and the food was great. The location is good. It was a very short walk to the french quarter and other local attractions. My only negative was that our floor was dirty. We were on...

In town for a week of business meetings. First- checking into the hotel on Tuesday and there is no power, no water, no bathrooms- but you got two nifty glow sticks to sit in your room- with no AC- for the evening. Second- Forget getting documents or packages being sent to you. They don't go to the hotel and to...

Thank you for your review. We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced as a result of the recent power outage. Unfortunately that was beyond our control and we did our best to communicate the city's plan in advance as well as offer alternate accomodations to those guests who chose to do so. Because of the considerable amount of guest packages...

A "relaxing getaway" this was NOT! After working overtime for days in preparation for a conference at this hotel, I arrived in hopes of being able to rest at the end of the 10-14 hour days that I worked during my 5 day stay at this Sheraton. I needed my room to be a safe, clean, comfortable refuge. Instead everything...

The whole point to staying in a hotel is having somewhere comfortable to sleep. That's it really. Of course the food is important to some, having a pool, a gym, etc are required by some also. But if the sleep isn't comfortable, then it's not fit for purpose. Now, we were booked in here for a week, for a conference...

On arrival we had quite a wait to check in, we were in a party of 42 and it took for hours to get to our room, BUT once we had got our room it was a different story, this hotel is close to most things in New Orleans, you can either walk or take the Tram which stops outside...

This is a lovely hotel situated at the edge of the French quarter and close to shops, restaurants and attractions. The hotel has a huge lobby with a central bar. Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
