We chose this hotel for our honeymoon and stayed during the last 2 days of Jazzfest which takes place literally across the street.

Hi Caroline, thank you for choosing the French Market Inn for your New Orleans stay, we appreciate your kind words. We're so glad you enjoyed your stay with us and hope to welcome you back to New Orleans again soon!
Love the high ceilings, crown molding, and quiet inner courtyards. It's close to everything too, but not in the fray. Great restaurants and shopping nearby and on the trolley. Gracious and responsive staff.
I love New Orleans and I love staying in the French Quarter when I visit. When I'm looking for a French Quarter hotel, I'm hoping to get a good combination of comfort, cool, affordability and location. Lucky for me, now that I've experienced the French...More

A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the
Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
Unfortunately, we do not allow pets at the French Market Inn, but we do offer pet-friendly accommodations at our sister hotel The Lafayette Hotel on St. Charles Avenue. The Alder Hotel on Magnolia Street is also pet-friendly.
