Our 7th floor suite was a beautiful setting, spacious and well appointed. We had great room service and housekeeping. High Tea was an absolute treat, something that's been on my bucket list for a long time. The birthday tea party for my 9 year old granddaughter will be a lifetime memory.

My wife & I stayed at this stellar hotel in the Crescent City, and it was all we could want in an upscale hotel. A highly trained attentive staff greets you the moment you arrive, the service is polished and personable, and our suite was 6 floors up, with not one, but two balconies. It made a weekend attending the...

My wife and I visited the Windsor Court for our anniversary. We were given a suite apron arrival. Loved everything about the hotel, room, restaurant and bar were all first class. Plan to go back to this hotel the next time I am in New Orleans.

My son is going to Tulane and I have made a point to stay at a different hotel each time I visit him in order to find my favorite. So far, Windsor Court has taken that prize. The rooms are very spacious, great amenities, great service and a wonderful location...close enough to the Quarter so you can easily walk but...

My husband and I always stay at Windsor Court when we go to New Orleans. It never fails to exceed our expectations. This visit we decided to stay on the Club Level and I visited the Spa for the first time. The Club Level is truly a notch above. Open long hours. Quiet space, outdoor space, tables with views. There...

We took a 4-night trip to NOLA to celebrate a birthday and returned to the Windsor Court after about 15 years. It has only gotten better and stands up by all measures to the finest in America and Europe. Our suite was huge and very tastefully decorated, as were all of the public spaces. We enjoyed the Polo Lounge and...

Windsor Court is about the same level of service and quality as a Ritz, (so below a Mandarin or 4 Seasons). Rooms are nice, but some are a bit tired. Staff is great, and always pleasant. Breakfast is a plus.....have to get their local benedict option. Best thing about the place tho is location. You do not want to stay...

The rooms are a bit dated but nicely appointed and large. The service is impeccable. Excellent location for accessing the French Quarter and the Warehouse District. Will definitely return. Great public spaces and restaurant and bar.

To be sure, this hotel is pricey, but not gratuitously so. This is the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in; best service; best room; ideal location. Pay the extra amount to have access to the concierge lounge. That addition truly made the stay perfect. The staff there is outstanding and the food and drink is beyond first class.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
