We stayed here for one night in April 2017. Our room was on the second floor overlooking the roof of the adjacent building. Overall, the hotel is pretty dated, but in decent condition. The room had an air conditioner and ceiling fan. We were a bit disappointed you couldn't open the window. The bathroom was small, but clean. The service...

This is a great small hotel right off Bourbon St. If you don't mind the sounds that come off Bourbon St. at night (and early morning) then this is a good place to stay. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. It's an old hotel and it is very charming. If you want to be right at the action, then...

I have never in my life met a friendlier, more hospitable hotel. I was there for a week in January of 2017 and they're the reason I'll be coming back. They made my birthday awesome and the memorial of my sister in law memories I'll never forget. Thank you so much. I'll be back soon!!!

Stayed here for our 10th wedding anniversary. The hotel was wonderful. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Honestly, I wanted to pack up the bed and take it home with me! It was soooo comfortable! I highly recommend staying here! I will book the Prince Conti when I stay again in New Orleans.

Second time I stayed at this hotel due to its great location. The first time though was 12 yrs ago and it is now really showing its age. According to an article posted (why would you post this?) in the lobby, it was last renovated in 1991!. We had a king suite this time and although there was plenty of...

So the hotel feels dated but the room is clean and welcoming. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You can book tours through the hotel and the site has a jazz bar with an awesome happy hour. The hotel also has an elevator and a comfort room where you can sit and relax after a long days journey.

The hotel is authentic NOLA. The location is great, close to everything but not "too close". The room was clean and exactly as described. If you're expecting lush comforts, you might not want to stay here. The floors creaked, some plugs worked half time, but that is exactly what we expected. The staff was awesome and helpful. The cafe downstairs...

We have stayed here a few times throughout the years. We were there April 5-8. We had a great room (269), roomy, it was quiet (no outside noise). The walls are a little thin in the bathroom, I could hear someone coughing and another noise I won't mention, hehe. But overall good hotel, right off Bourbon, we could walk to...

We enjoyed our stay in this quaint, old hotel in the French Quarter and just off Bourbon Street, but certainly without the noise and craziness you will find if you stay on Bourbon Street. If you are looking for elegance, it isn't here, but it has comfortable rooms that were clean. The bathrooms are upgraded. Maybe the room itself can...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
