Very nice property with a great courtyard area. The room was large, inviting, and very comfortable. The breakfast was great. Very nice workout room. Pool. Basketball court. Grills. Even space for walking your dog, too! The front desk staff was lackluster at check-in and check-out,...More

Every person working seemed genuinely happy to meet and greet with us. A special shout out to Duane in the breakfast area and Dewayne our valet. They made us feel like royalty !! It was clean and close to the French Quarter. Highly recommended.More

Once a thriving industrial zone, today this district is home to a buzzing arts scene with an amazing assortment of galleries, boutiques, and studios having moved in and set up shop throughout the disused warehouses for which the area is so well known. Much of the art you'll come across here is local in scope, ownership and inspiration. However, among the many old brick warehouses are modern structures of steel and
glass housing large-scale cultural institutions of national prominence such as the National World War II Museum, the Contemporary Arts Center, and the Ogden Museum of Southern Art. Just as eye catching as what’s on view inside the galleries and museums is the chance to see your ship come in at the Julia Street Cruise Terminal, which serves as a wistful reminder of the city’s historic maritime prominence.

You are quite a distance from the bus or trolley lines. It is about four blocks away, but the blocks are long. We used Uber to go up to Canal street and the outlet mall. Tulane is definitely a Uber ride away. I am not sure of the exact distance but it is not located in the warehouse district. I spoke with one of the guys on the phone that did the three wheel bike ride which would give a really good tour of the French quarters. He said it was 80.00 per hour. There was also a hop on hop off tour service, but we did not use it. It appeared to be a struggle for my 80 and 81 year old travelers.
