We chose this Hotel because it was pet friendly, up to 60 lbs I believe. Check in was easy. Parking across the street or use vale (we chose vale parking). It may have been cheaper across the street, but the rates were not posted on the meters. The Hotel itself is an old style ~ step back in time. I...

First time staying here and I have stayed at many 4 star hotels in New Orleans. The atmosphere of the art and hardwood floors and friendliest staff makes this hotel my new favorite in the crescent city! The beds are very comfortable and rooms are large and very clean!

Had a few day stay and would stay again right away. Clean and modern but with the most vintage vibe. Great and friendly staff. Bar and restaurant super orderly and top notch. Great location for a downtown stay out of the Quarter but easy enough to reach all the restaurants, bars, coffee shops, museums, music venues and whatever you need--...

I took my son, who is 11, with me on this trip due to it's proximity to the Insectarium and Aquarium. We parked across the street, paid public parking $39 for 24 hours. Would have like to order room service no information if provided or a list of nearby places we could order from. Slept like a baby...the beds and...

Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback! I completely understand how some NOLA situations aren't the most kid friendly, but we are certainly saving the whole family a spot at Family Gras' this year! Hope to see ya'll soon! Have a great day! -Jusitn

The staff is well trained and provided very good customer service. The valet service and personnel is spectacular. The breakfast service and process is a bit quirky but we enjoyed it and our stay there!

We made a last minute booking for 1 night. Staff were very friendly. Location great as we were able to walk everywhere and felt very safe even at night. The bed was comfy. Loved the original creaky wooden floor boards.

For what I paid I though I was getting a better room and this trip was for my wife B-Day and she wasn't even able to take a bath, the shower in the room was right over her head (in the ceiling) it was VERY HARD for her to take a shower without getting her hair wet.

Thank you for sharing your feedback from your recent stay with us. I am so sorry to hear that the overall room did not meet your expectations. I completely understand how this can be disheartening especially when you are celebrating a special occasion. I can assure you however that next time you do return to the hotel I will personally...

When we checked out they tried to charges us for beverages we hadn't ordered, we protested, they said the charges would be taken off. Instead and extra $70 was charged to our credit card. There was no window in our room, claustrophobic!

Thank you for sharing your feedback from your recent stay. I am so sorry to hear about the clerical error on our part in regard to the $14.88 coffee shop charges. This error caused a $64.88 authorization to be added to the reservation since we do take a $50 incidental hold on all reservations on top of room and taxes....

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
