Jorge very nice. Enjoyed the quaintness of staying in a log built lodge. Restaurant good and free breakfast. No curtain at bath window so I had to rig up a towel for privacy. Floors were not mopped and got 'grit' on my feet which is a pet peeve. Son had adjacent room and I had a queen sized bed in...

First off, I have to say that Jorge and Vicky were absolutely fabulous hosts. Our room was spacious and the beds were quite comfortable. We were on the first floor and able to smell the coffee brewing In the morning. The smells that came out of that kitchen were amazing. Breakfast was included, you just need to let them know...

Four of us spent nine nights at Volcan Lodge. Yes, the dogs sang us to sleep, accompanied our dreams, and awakened us at dawn. We nicknamed the doggie chorus "the symphony". :) Other than that our stay was great. Everything I've read in the other reviews I experienced except we didn't see or feel the termites. I give my review...

My husband and I spent two nights at the Volcan Lodge. This was the worst experience I have ever had in all the years we've traveled. The bathroom was in rough shape; toilet seat didn't fit the toilet. The shower ran out of hot water after a very short time, had a broken drain cover and just plain nasty looking....

My daughter and I stayed at Volcan Lodge in Volcan, Panama from 27 to 30 June 2014. Jorge and Vicky, the owners, were very hospitable. Jorge even picked us jup from David Airport (prior arrangement.) That was possible because it was the low season there. He also brojght us to an excursion place, the bautiful Finca Dracula. Jorge and Vicky's...

The restaurant is great, good food, large portions, good service at a fair price. The management of the hotel however, is not up to par. We had a confirmed reservation for an upstairs room and when we arrived we were told that the only available room was a tiny, single room directly off the kitchen on the ground floor... Unacceptable.

My wife and I spent a night here and were impressed with the accommodation as well as the great food. Breakfast the next day was also a treat. The only problem we had was the dogs across the road going crazy in the night. Will definitely stay again next trip through.

Excellent food at the Lodge itself and at the Mana Resturant out on the main road. Accomodations are average B&B/Lodge grade accomodations, but comfortable and clean. Jorge and Vicky are friendly and attentive and create a very welcoming atmosphere.

We stayed 5 nights in January. The place is relaxing and comfortable. The food is outstanding. Jorge and Vicky are a delight to be around and they are so helpful. We are headed back for a longer stay this January.

I stayed at the Volcan Lodge for the second time this March. I stayed here two years ago during May as well. Both times I really enjoyed my stay. Jorge and Vicky are great people. Jorge lived in America for a long time and speaks perfect English. Vicky is one of the best cooks I have ever had the pleasure...
