Over the years, I have stayed in The Roost Resort cabins, camping cabin, and camp ground. I can say that over a 12 year period, sometimes staying multiple times each season, that I have never been disappointed. Each year I notice new improvements in the property, such as the bath house being remodeled, or new siding on the cabins, etc.... More

We stayed in Cabin 5 for four nights in June. The cabin was the perfect size for us. We had a kitchenette - frig, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, 2 burner stove top, kitchen table, as well as our own picnic table, charcoal grill and two seating chairs outside the cabin. We loved watching the deer every night in front of our... More

The cute small A-frame cabin (#4) was perfect for a five-day hiking vacation for two people. The cabin was simple and clean and had no frills except for cable TV and wifi. The owners were personable and helpful. The location and price were excellent. There was a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, but no oven. We cooked our breakfasts, packed sandwiches... More

We had a family reunion and half of our family stayed at the Roost. We planned on having our evening meals there but after the second night being told we were to loud and all guests needed to leave by 8:00pm, our last night we gathered someplace else. Yes they advertised as a quiet resort but really is 7:30 to... More

The family reunion guest with reservations arrived June 16th for three nights. Five cabins were rented with 11 registered guests. Just after 10:00PM on the same night, I went outside on the front porch and heard quite a bit of loud conversation. I went to the front of the cabins that were rented and discovered about 20 people gathered and... More

Mrs. Molina checked in on Friday, June 3rd for five nights in one of our larger family cabins. On June 5th the toilet would not flush. It was reported Sunday afternoon at about 5pm. An inspection revealed a sewer line blockage that would require a 100ft power snake to clear. I explained to Mrs. Molina that the hardware store to... More

We enjoyed our little A frame cabin for 2 days.It was very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying the deer and the chickens that wandered around. They had grills for every cabin so we enjoyed a BBQ one of the nights.

I am reluctant to tell others about the little gem of a campground, but we are unlikely to be able to visit again, so I will! The name "resort" is a bit deceiving as there is no pool, etc as the name would imply. What it does have is a small RV/tent campground with amazing views of the surrounding peaks... More

Had another enjoyable stay at The Roost. Stayed in a 2-bed cabin. The wifi 100 times better than it was during our last stay. This made my kids (and us) very happy after our long days of sightseeing. The kitchenette was helpful as was the full-size coffee maker and toaster. The beds are full-size and unfortunately are getting a bit... More

We stayed in the Kamper Kabin. It was very nice and clean. It has a small fridge and freezer, electricity, tv, and wi-fi. It also has two double/full size beds that were comfortable. The cabin also has a four person table inside and a table on the porch, as well as a picnic table. The bathroom/shower is across the driveway... More
