Hotel Mitteregger is a family-run hotel in a central location in Kaprun. My room was very spacious with 3 windows, all with views of the mountains. The bathroom was also large, with bath and shower. A hair dryer is provided. Separate loo. The room was cold when I arrived but an electric heater was provided when I asked. Everything is...

We stayed for 1 week during the Summer and the staff were very kind, the food was delicious and the hotel was really well presented overall. The staff were willing to help out with any issues, and they put on a fantastic BBQ one evening with traditional music which was fantastic. Rooms were spacious too, and very easy to access...

The Mitteregger is centrally located and food/service is impeccable. My husband and I met here 26 years ago and are family friends with the owners. We returned together last year and again this year and plan to make an annual visit, as it feels like home to us. The Hainzer family has preserved the original charm of the property while...

We had a lovely stay at this family-run hotel which was full of character. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. On our wedding anniversary we were presented with a cake and our holiday rep. gave us a bottle of champagne. They did not have to do this, it was a lovely touch. If they read this review I'd...

Chosen for its location and room, myself and my mate were very unhappy with the food quality, quantity and staff attitude during our week's snowboarding. After burning thousands of calories in the day, we expected wholesome Austrian food at night ,but got a small three course meal from a very limited menu. Added to this was the fact that people...

This is a wonderful family-run hotel. The staff is warm and friendly and helpful. The board and restaurant quality was wonderful and the wait staff was great. Our room was in the original wing of the hotel, build in the 1400s! How cool is that? We had a wrap-around balcony with views of the mountains and the valley. It was...

The key to know about this property is that it is a family-run Guest House. So there are lots of rules posted about hours, what you can and can't do, etc. None of the rules are outrageous or overly inconvenient, but certainly sets a tone. Staff greeted us personally as we arrived and were very friendly. Rooms are large (we...
